Gardenia, one of my fave flowers married gracefully with green notes that're intense but fresh, not like the decaying leaves I get from Chanel 19, sorry to say. And I don’t remember her wearing it but I assume she did wear it because it was in her perfume cabinet.

Walnut and nutmeg ground this and meld with the florals to create a very warm and comforting feeling. There's a slight similiarity to Ysatis - I wish it were stronger - but Organza doesn't linger as well as Y. Give it time to settle, there's a lot in the opening but I promise it becomes very mild to be honest. My first impression of this perfume, years ago, was that it is fitting for a very elegant woman in a glamorous evening setting. I really really wanted to like this one, since I am an ,,classic" lover and Organza is such a must have. Brings to mind being in front of a warm fireplace at home on a cold autumn night after a glamorous and satisfying night out, just relaxing with heels kicked off, enjoying a glass of fine vintage wine before going to bed.I could imagine it being especially appropriate for going on dinner dates, going to galas, going to the theater or any other nighttime events. Whilst I adore the voluptuous bottle which reminds me of an Egyptian priestess, it doesn't really match the fragrance itself IMO, which is innocently uplifting. The intoxicating opening of consists of opulent notes from gardenia, African orange flower, bergamot and nutmeg.

I hardly ever need unless it is light like Trish McEvoy's Blackberry and Vanilla { love that scent , it gets compliments } . Organza does not give off a professional boss vibe but a very sensual classy woman (dreamy, heady white floral in the opening – honeysuckle and gardenia are the most distinctive notes), and then when you get to know her more, as the scent transforms, you will find a true confident woman underneath who knows what she wants, is independent, authentic, wise with emotional maturity (spicy woody creating that character). It's a real shame that Givenchy messed up the original formula, because the bottle and original perfume is a masterpiece. s Givenchy was on fire and they blessed the world with a couple of masterpieces, Organza and Insensé, and a dozen of other respectable releases such as Xeryus Rouge, Amarige and Pi.I don't know if it is my chemistry or what, but once this sumptuous frag hit my skin, it was like magic. In this way, it reminds me of Hot Couture, another Givenchy scent from a similar era, albeit a floral-fruity instead of Organza's woody floriental. Side by side Organza is giving me the everything in moderation option, while Boudoir would be the exuberant over indulgent Queen!
