Ay, de verdad, qué cosa más curiosa es este libro. Yo le admiro a esta autora el valor de hacer un cuarteto guarreril mezclando el sexo con una intriga de suspense y que no haya quedado eso en un lío de pies, manos y colas sin sentido. Pero la verdad es que ahí hay mucha gente y al final acaba cojeando en la parte amorosa, donde todo está metido con calzador. Y el sexo entre cuatro... DIgamos que no es para escrupulosas 🤣🤣🤣. I really enjoyed reading this. I’m a bit sad it’s over and I’ve read all her other books she’s got out. Now I have to wait for a new release. What the hell am I gonna read in the meantime? 😒 I’m literally in love with these new covers!! I mean, look at them😍 I’m going to binge all of these books! Not only did it have a cute relationship development between fmc and three gorgeous men, but it had a mystery in it.

I have an especially strong love-hate relationship with reverse harem. It’s my favourite genre, but it is especially riddled with shitty MMCs and horribly bullied FMCs. Really enjoyed this book. A but long, I didn’t feel it had to be that long. There also wasn’t a lot of romance as I really wanted. I just wish there was more cute and fluffy, more focused on the stalker & her life as a celebrity.Plenty of acts of service and love between the characters (including copious amounts of oral for the FMC) Again, this Lily Gold book didn’t work for me… I think that she’s at her best when she does lighter, funnier books - like Faking With Benefits or Nanny for the Neighbors. But maybe it’s just that’s what I prefer from her so… maybe give this one a shot if you want to try a contemporary reverse harem. I’m honestly not sure why I even bothered finishing this… once I got to the end, I realized that I wished I DNFd it at around the 30-40% when I realized I wasn’t enjoying it… but oh well - I somehow made it to the end. Two childhood friends. Two broken hearts. One impromptu road trip to get away from everything. That’s all this was supposed to be. Afterall, I’ve been living in the friend zone for years now. She has a soft spot for strong guys with big hearts, and thinks the only thing better than one book boyfriend is TWO book boyfriends... or maybe three 😜; When she's not writing, she's usually reading, accidentally killing her potted plants, or finding a pet to cuddle.

On top of that, we don’t get on. They think I’m a demanding diva. I think they’re overdramatic. When a trip to America sends the guys’ protective instincts into overdrive, the sizzling tension between us finally breaks, and I learn my bodyguards’ butterfly-inducing secret: they want me. I highly recommend this book if you want a thoroughly entertaining and romantic book with some intrigue thrown in. It is a RH (no MM) with ultra spicy scenes. I swear sapphic authors can write the spice 🥵🥵.

Ahhh, I absolutely loved this one, Lily Golds books are some of my favourites and always seem to get a 5 Star rating from me. After reading Twisted Games earlier this year, I have been wanting to find a bodyguard romance that makes my heart beat as much as it did when I read it. Triple Duty Bodyguards was that and loads more. I loved the contrast between all the boy’s personalities, and how between them, Briar would always be satisfied emotionally, mentally, and well you know DEFINITELY PHYSICALLY. Plus I loved the bit of action this one had, as well as the use of PTSD, it was just shown so beautifully in this book. I loved the representation in this book that showed that not all girls can finish from penetration. It’s one of my pet peeves and something I can never find in books. Definitely one of my favourite books of the year, and I can’t wait to read the rest of Lily Golds Reverse Harems' books. This was fun! If you're looking for an easy and steamy read and don't mind reverse harem, then I recommend you read this.

I know that people often think of romance novels as being “porn for women” or not worthy of serious praise, but this book blows all of those stereotypes out of the water. One other random thing that I loved was that the FMC never became a side character in her own story. This is a complaint that I have with Asian dramas more so than romance novels. But many stories tend to start with a strong but traumatised FMC, but by the end of the story all of the focus is on the MMC and his hurt and trauma. In Triple Duty Bodyguards, Briar is the one that gets kidnapped and ends up in the hospital. The MMCs are still very present and have their own growth arcs and thoughts, but the story stays focused on Briar. (No to get into the psychology of why I love seeing my favourite characters getting hurt). Spoilers ahead. If you want a fun bodyguard/reserve harem romance this book is definitely worth the read. The author did an amazing job of making these characters multifaceted, complex and very interesting. The emotional growth of each character feels genuine, and definitely had me laughing, crying, sympathizing and giving me all the feels.This had a pretty heavy plot, y’all. Wasn’t expecting it after the few novels of Lily Gold’s I’ve read before. This almost read like a romantic suspense in parts. It does go HAM. Be prepared for some OTT scenes but they’re so enthralling you won’t mind at all. You’ll just wanna keep reading what happens next.

This book just wasn’t enjoyable to me because I spent so much of it being uncomfortable. With the heroine, the guys, the plot, everything. I didn’t connect to anyone or anything. Briar has a stalker so she hires 3 ex SAS soldiers to protect her. We get all of their povs but we also get to read the stalker’s pov too which I found to be so original. I’ve never read a book like that. I am into reading kink and love a bit of powerplay, but I am even more into balanced and consensual relationships when powerplay is entered into after mutual respect has been established. The fact that Briar did not take any shit from the MMCs and demanded respect from them just made me so happy. briar is a famous actress who hires a team of three bodyguards after her stalker escalates to breaking into her home. this book follows the guys’ relationships with briar and their work protecting her while the situation with her stalker comes to a head. Triple-Duty Bodyguards: A Military Reverse Harem Romance” is a modern masterpiece, a powerful novel that can be read on its own. This novel is written by Lily Gold. The characters in this novel bring life and heart to this story, each with a distinct voice and personality.The overall romance was amazing though, I loved Briar so much for being sassy and unapologetically honest, a little mean, just handling her fame in general.
