Description

The Pelvic Floor Educator is designated as a medical device and is manufactured from medical grade materials but not under sterile conditions so we recommend cleaning before use. A new, one-piece moulding means the Periform Plus Vaginal Probe is now smoother and easier to clean The Educator’s unique design follows the movement of the internal wall of your vagina, allowing you to see how your pelvic floor muscles are being contracted. If you contract your pelvic floor muscles and the indicator moves downward, you can be sure you’re performing the exercises correctly. It’s as simple as that! Following the instructions provided, you should be able to see the movement in the external indicator. You do need an intact pelvic floor and at least a small amount of 'lift' for it to work properly.

Recommended by continence specialists, the Pelvic Floor Educator is an effective and easy to use incontinence treatment that has been used by continence specialists throughout the world for many years. If you are unable to contract your pelvic floor at all, or you have been assessed by your gynaecologist or women's health physiotherapist as having a grade 2 pelvic floor (no lift) you will need to work towards a grade 3 (some lift) before seeing results using the Pelvic Floor Educator. The main problem most women experience when first attempting pelvic floor exercises is knowing whether they are doing them correctly. The Pelvic Floor Educator is the perfect product to teach you how to contract your pelvic floor correctly and effectively. At Complete Care Shop, we’re passionate about helping you to maintain your independence and improve your quality of life. Get in touch today to learn more about our pelvic floor products, and how they can help you to enhance your strength and muscle memory. You can use the Pelvic Floor Educator to treat all kinds of pelvic floor and incontinence problems, including those caused by pregnancy and child birth, the menopause and weight issues. You’ll attach the indicator wand to the body of the Educator. You’ll then insert the Educator into your vagina (similar to inserting a tampon). Do your Kegel exercises. As you contract your muscles, the indicator wand will follow the internal walls of the vagina, so you’ll know if you’re doing it correctly. But knowing if we are contracting or relaxing our pelvic floor muscles correctly can be the biggest challenge when doing these exercises at home.

If you or someone you care for needs support with building or regaining pelvic floor strength, discover our range of pelvic trainers. These devices can help to tone pelvic floor muscles and can be a helpful aid for those living with incontinence. Pelvic trainers work to stimulate the muscles safely and gently, helping to strengthen the pelvic floor, meaning they can be used to effectively prevent and control urinary incontinence. New Features of the Periform Plus Intra Vaginal Probe

The insertable vaginal component is approximately 6.5 cm long and approximately 9cm circumference at its widest point.

However I also bought this with the Kegel8 Cones - not realising that the kegel8 cones do exactly the same thing but more! My bad! Unfortunately most of us are doing kegels incorrectly without realising! It's very possible that you are tensing the wrong muscles while exercising, which can lead to more problems as your muscles become strained. Rated a fantastic 8/10 by Dr Penelope Law, a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Hillingdon Hospital and The Portland Hospital in London! One of the main problems women experience when first attempting pelvic floor exercises is knowing whether they are doing them correctly. Many women think they are doing these exercises correctly when in fact they may not be. For pelvic floor exercises to help reduce the symptoms of urinary incontinence, it is vital these exercises are performed correctly. Inserting the probe is often easier when using a high-quality water-based lubricant such as YES Water-based lubricant. Even if you can already do pelvic floor exercises, the Educator can assess your technique and monitor your improvement! Unique form of the Pelvic Floor Educator's vaginal probe allows it to follow the movement of the internal walls of the vagina.
