So now I have to pretend I'm a music teacher and figure out how to introduce her all this stuff properly. I guess the exercises are okay as long as I teach her the material first and then just practice with the exercises. I am personally a fan of the Alfred books and use them for several instruments but Hal Lenard books are just as great. The only thing in the book that gives an indication that this is a kids book is irrelevant cutesy pictures all over the place.
