There were some details that I would have liked a bit more of, but I’m hoping certain characters will get their story in the future and that’s when those details will come out. It’s quite obvious early-on that there’s one brother in particular who plays a bigger role and special connection with Landry. The two on the run from their abusive, disgusting father, and the only safe space seems to be with Sully, Sparrow, and Scout. It’s no secret that he wiped out his former fiancée and her entire family on the eve of their wedding. He takes subjects that normally bore the pants off most of us, like geology, chemistry, and particle physics, and aims to render them comprehensible to people who have never thought they could be interested in science.

I started to love them so much that when Ash was talking bad about them late in the book I was defending them in my head.I thought it was nice that actually they all ended up getting on and the Morelli-Constantine feud didn’t affect their friendship. I think this book wanted to be dramatic and emotional but also wanted to be erotic and the two didn't mesh so great.

Even though i loved the first book a lot, this felt a bit flat because the sex felt forced, like there was no passion, in any serious situation they fucked rather than work on their situation. Sully was possessive so did have an issue sharing but easily acquiesced, and was a bit of a follower though the more ‘gentle’ brother. In book 1 we see the three triplets duping the h into thinking she’s dating one man so yes, she’s intimate with all three of them on separate occasions but again, she’s under the impression she’s dating one man.

When Landry meets those from the boys' pasts they feel that she is being tormented, but she has to prove she wants to be with them. Yet Strike discovers that beneath the surface there are deeply sinister undertones, and unexplained deaths.

Continuing in the timeline without interruption, Landry Croft knows the truth about the Mannford triplets but she also realizes there are limited options. The 48 Laws of Power will fascinate any listener interested in gaining, observing, or defending against ultimate control.

I will admit to really disliking Scout when we first met him but somehow in this duet he was the one who proved what Landry meant to them and was willing to sacrifice everything for her.

But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. But the triplets are trying to save her from a very powerful father who used her as a punching bag and more.
