More of a question, given that the new Series 7’s primary advantage is balance while Series 7’s locking mechanism is shaky and Series 7’s shaving performance is a downgrade from earlier Series 7s, and given that the Series 8 has a superior battery, superior LEDs, a travel lock, and shaves very well indeed, it still isn’t clear why the more expensive yet declining Series 7 is recommended ? I seen that u said new 7 series does not match same close shave as the older series Just your thoughts what might be better option. So going for a cheaper option would be the natural thing to go but looking of my “usage time” of my last shaver I would be ready to make the investment in a series 9. While the industry standard is 40 to 50 minutes, the Series 8 can provide at least 60 minutes of cordless shaving time (on a single charge). Comfort wise, The bigger head of the 9 pro feels more surface is touch your face, it is comfortable that way.
