Description

It is 16 days since Juliette killed Anderson and declared herself Supreme Commander of North America. Warner is still largely running Sector 45 with the help of his grandfather, Delalieu. He is also trying to get to know Juliette’s friends. Castle is strategizing, and on his advice, Juliette has invited the Supreme Commanders of the other landmasses to a conference. Only Eurasia has accepted. Despite Castle’s warnings, Juliette and Adam begin to get intimate. Adam collapses in pain and is hospitalized for days. When he comes out Juliette breaks up with him. They are both devastated. Dom is the mirror image of my soul. The place where all my shadows and every burst of flame are known, understood, and loved.” Finally, Warner sits Juliette down and reveals that the people that raised her were her adoptive parents, and that her biological parents gave her up to the Reestablishment when she was five years old. When she was adopted, her memory was erased and she was given the name Juliette Ferrars. Her sister, Emmaline, was also given to the Reestablishment, and was placed in a laboratory for study. He lost his childhood innocence by witnessing his mother physically getting abused by his father, then loosing her for cancer and year later when he finds his soulmate he lost her for his bestfriend who is like his brother years later being a best man at their wedding 😭😭😭

This book bridges the gap between a lot of the info that's been hinted at through out the Shatter Me series, and the deception that's already taken place. It introduces readers to a bigger cast of characters we've not yet met before, but who's homes (sectors), we've previously heard of. Their being apart of this story not only links previous withheld history, it uncovers missing links we've previously not had. It also gives readers a stronger history on their ties to Warner, and Juliette. Though I may not be a fan of all of the characters, I liked their roles in this story, and the over all series. There is a purpose for them being in the story. Okay, first I really want to thank the author for not having one, but two Britney Spears moments in this book. Thank you, what a beautiful 10 year tribute. An emotionally charged roller coaster of a read, this book had me going through all of the book feelings! Restore Me is the book I knew was coming, after I read Ignite Me. It is the inevitable storyline that I have been looking to getting my hands on. It's the book I've wanted to read, and didn't want to, all at the same time, because I feared what I thought might happen would come true. Does it ever, and more so. This book is definitely a mixed bag of emotions, and I mean that in the best possible way.In the sixteen days since I shot Anderson in the forehead I have faced zero opposition. No one has tried to arrest me. No other supreme commanders have challenged me. Of the 554 remaining sectors on this continent alone, not a single one has defected, declared war, or spoken ill of me. No one has protested; the people have not rioted. For some reason, The Reestablishment is playing along. There you go! That’s what happened in Restore Me. Hope youenjoyed this recap of Restore Me with spoilers. In full disclosure, it’s been a really long time since I read the the first batch of Shatter Me books. Dom this man is perfect. I love him and his dirty/beautiful mouth so much <33 he was so thoughtful and understanding and sweet and hot. He is everything I want and need <3 everytime i read his pov was like a reward. The way he was thinking about her was so beautiful i want to cry.I will let this man do anything to me. He doesn’t even has to ask all he has to do is snap his fingers and I’ll be on my knees for him🧎🏻‍♀️I JUST LOVE HIM Anderson asks if Juliette knows what Warner had to do to become Commander. Kenji tells Juliette that she doesn’t know Warner as well as she thinks.

Juliette admits to Kenji and to herself that she doesn’t really know how to lead. She is drowning in paperwork and red tape from all of the North American Sectors, of which there are 555. Everyone sends in a report each day, plus other requests. Juliette didn’t even finish High School. It was so interesting to see how Juliette, a 17 year old, would handle all the power suddenly at her exposure, as she is the new head of Sector 45. I'll do whatever it takes to have you, including letting you use me to fulfill every need and desire you have," Juliette's shaved head scene: wait she shaved the whole thing? Or like those cool bad ass edgy half shaved styles? No? The whole thing? Just like Warren? Really? While she was drunk? How did she manage that? Those clippers must be the real deal, that would have taken me forever. Especially drunk? And it looks good? She should consider a new career. Why is everyone cool with this? Why didn't Kenji make a joke about it? Eveyone's too okay with it that it just makes it weirder. Where's the "you really do start to become the person you're dating" joke? No? Okay... :(

Customer reviews

You read that right. Her name is Emmeline, and it used to be Warner’s job to torture her. Because Warner is a good guy (despite his own doubts), he confesses everything to Juliette the first chance he gets. And she kinda sorta breaks up with him. Nazeera has superpowers. As the books in the series progress, the amount of passages and lines that have been crossed out decreases. This is because Juliette slowly becomes more confident and certain about her thoughts.
