Description

LEGO Red Train Base 6 x 28 with 2 Rectangular Cutouts and 3 Round Holes Each End has been used in at least 4 LEGO sets over the past 28 years, since it was first used in 1996. I'm pretty sure the locomotive is modelled on the NS class 6400 produced for the Dutch state owned railway in the late 80s and early 90s.

Contact Us LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies. Combine with 10872 Train Bridge and Tracks for even more track combinations and LEGO® DUPLO® train fun. It is remotely controlled, and although you need a large number of AAA batteries, it works extremely well.Open up endless possibilities for your toddler to make a cool track for any new or existing DUPLO train set with these LEGO® DUPLO® 10882 Train Tracks. Stop the Train with the Red Action Brick Placing the action bricks on the track allows you to decide which actions the train takes when it passes over them. Separate locomotives and wagons are also introduced to encourage children to put together their own unique trainsets.

The set features a Swiss Crocodile locomotive as its main model, but it is possible to get instructions for a whopping 29 additional models that could be created with the elements that came with the box.I'm asking myself if set 7939 will have reached the end of its production cycle when that set is released in August. Not so keen on the tipper wagon or the conveyor thing, it could have been so much better but I guess they were confined by the bit count / cost of the set. So it seems LEGO reacts, but that's kinda fast to respond, isn't there a lead time of about 1-2 years for new sets? In 1960, the LEGO Group closes its wooden-toy era after a fire damages the woodworking factory, bringing the production of wooden trains to a halt.

Following privatization a bunch were bought by a German firm (at that point it was Railion) and painted in the bright red livery. Please take a look at the recommended products featured or explore our full range of LEGO City sets currently available for purchase.
