When I first heard the track "Shoot the Runner", I was rather disgusted at the repetitive idiocy of the music. Both albums have their ups and downs, however, with good care and plenty of water, this band might have found a hole in the record company fence, and may well escape into the field of success. Few modern rock bands match the swagger, the critical acclaim and the commercial success of Kasabian.
Granted they are nothing too groundbreaking, or dissimilar from numerous other bands, but I soon discovered a plethora of kick-ass dancefloor rock tunes. Lead singer Tom Meighan left the band by mutual consent on the 6th July 2020 after suffering with personal issues.
