Since only the virtual instructor is present, it's up to you to keep yourself motivated and actively try harder. Otherwise, you won't get a lot out of these workout sessions. Once again, we’ve got a game for you that isn’t inherently focused on fitness but can be used to stay in shape. ARMS is one of Nintendo’s newest intellectual properties, a fighting game that sends you into one-on-one battles against the AI or other players. The idea is that you can literally “throw” punches and control their trajectory to land a hit, while your opponents attempt to dodge and weave away. Let us just throw in one suggestion if we may, though, and while such an undertaking is obviously far too late now for Fitness Boxing 2, maybe it might be an idea for the third game. Friends, let us not forget the JoySound library. The JoySound Karaoke app was one of the Wii U’s few successes in Japan, and it’s now currently on the Switch where it has no fewer than 180,000 songs, along with tempo control. If there was a way to somehow integrate that with Fitness Boxing and charge a membership fee to give the player access to a much larger library, that would make every day feel fresh rather than having you feel like you’ve heard everything after just three weeks. It's a good concept, but done poorly. It doesn't actually matter what punches you throw. As long as it registers some sort of punch, it'll consider it done. I also find it fairly inconsistent in actually registering punches. a b c "New Switch Exercise Game Fitness Boxing Launches In Japan On December 20". Siliconera. September 25, 2018. While Sports Party doesn’t ever hit the highs of something like Wii Sports, it’s got a similar concept, which is great for most players. Sports Partyis a collection of sports games that utilize motion controls. The options available are Frisbee, Jet Ski, Basketball, Golf, Skateboarding, and Beach Tennis, and they can be played in a local competitive setting. Once again, you don’t have to utilize the game’s motion controls, but having them available is a nice option if you’re looking to break a sweat. Made it so that an error caused by this event where continuous days of Daily Workout stops will no longer trigger. I’m no exercise master, and as such I vastly underestimated the physical endurance required to swing one’s arms constantly for over 40 minutes. Turns out it’s quite a lot, and within the first week or so I was left and a battered and broken gamer as my trainer lauded praise upon me as I crossed the finish line. I felt excellent, so the effort was arguably worth the end result. Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise continues to be a surprising way to meet new hunky men, because the latest trainer to be added to the game (just in time for the post-Christmas guilt regime) is Guy, a floppy-haired boyband lookalike who's been through tough times. Going to an actual Zumba class right now is probably not possible, so why not try the next best thing? That’s what you get with Zumba: Burn It Up for the Nintendo Switch. It works a lot like Just Dance but is intended for an audience focused on fitness rather than a casual market. It still features a list of songs for you to dance to along with stats that pertain to your performance, such as calories burned and overall technique.
