Use a large, flat board. You don't need anything fancy - a plain cutting board will do! You just want to make sure it's big enough to fit everything comfortably. For these photos, we used a circular wooden cutting board (similar one here) but I also frequently make cheese plates on large plastic cutting boards, serving platters, or even spread out across a few dinner plates. You definitely don't need to run out and buy something brand new just for cheese boards. You're going to cover your board up anyway, so don't worry if it doesn't look perfect! Don't be afraid to get creative and have fun with it - you're already on your way to making a perfect cheese plate every time!A cheese plate in film is a type of cinematography technique used to create an interesting and visually appealing shot. This DIY project is surprisingly easy and inexpensive to make, and it can provide an essential tool for any photographer’s arsenal. By creating a custom-made cheese plate out of wood or metal, you can easily attach various pieces of equipment like cameras, lenses, flash units, and other devices to the top surface. With its ability to reduce vibration significantly, this type of cheese plate can help photographers get the most out of their gear when shooting in challenging conditions. L Cheese Plate
