Description

Electric nail guns use electricity to drive nails, and they are often lighter and more compact than other types. Some strip nailers use a clipped head so the nails can be closer together, which allows less frequent reloading. A pin nailer is a type of nail gun that drives simple pin-like fasteners as substitutes for finish nails. Devices with a power rating > 12kW require the approval of your grid operator (Germany, other countries may differ). I bought this a couple of months ago, and just noticed that the description is for 2 of them - I only received 1. One is a large one for small finishing nails which I occasionally use on picture frames to hold the backs on. These are used in conjunction with a strap shot nailer (or positive placement nailer UK [ dubious – discuss]) to fix metalwork such as joist hangers, corner plates, strengthening straps, etc. g. propane) and air explosion in a small cylinder; the piston pushes the nail directly and there are no rotating parts.

The sequential-trip trigger, which is safer, requires the nose contact to be depressed before the manual trigger, rather than simultaneously with the trigger. While I often use pins and pegs for fastening in modeling, they are almost exclusively placed in pre-drilled holes and used as pegs to secure one part to another, concealing the peg, rather than driving a nail in with the head left exposed. The first nail gun used air pressure and was introduced to the market in 1950 to speed the construction of housing floor sheathing and sub-floors.

The most common firing mechanism is the dual-action contact-trip trigger, which requires that the manual trigger and nose contact element both be depressed for a nail to be discharged. Ideal for starting and driving nails into concrete, this tool reduces the risk of harming the user or surrounding, finished areas. Two quality drivers for pushing home nails and pins when using a hammer would be hazardous or cause damage. Nailers may also be of the 'coil' type where the fasteners come in wire or plastic collation, to be used with nail guns with a drum magazine; the advantage is many more fasteners per load, but at the expense of extra weight. The question would be what do you use it for: to drive headless pins without flattening them on the top, to avoid the impact of a hammer, to avoid hitting something else, if you are not sure with the hammer, to get it straight down, etc.

One of the advantages of using a nail gun is that it saves time and effort compared to using manual tools. The MARSHALLTOWN Magnetic Nail Driver is essential when using short brad nails to install carpet tack strip or when using framing and finishing tools.
