Wanting to strengthen its foothold in the realm of effects, Fender has dished out quite a few stompboxes in the past few years, but finally the company has given us one of our own with the introduction of the Downtown Express Bass Multi-Effect. And you hear it all with an uncanny clarity and tonal girth that makes you want to play the bass even more. Please note, due to some previous use this item has been given our 'Pre-Loved' status - meaning that we've checked it over and ensured it's in full working condition - complete with a 3 Month PMT Warranty to ensure you're satisfied with the condition. For the time I have had this pedal, I can already tell this is going to be my new bread and butter go to bas pedal. The Line 6 FAQ page says they "recommend" the EX-1 expression pedal, but they don't say you can't use non-proprietary expression pedals with the FBV MkII.

The middle EQ incorporates an inductor-like feature that was used in bass amps from the 60s and 70s to give you that classic tone. VERY glad I got this, cause the compressor is absolutely sick and I have no real need to drive a cab. Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.Alder has been the wood of choice for fine electric bass building, in addition to Swamp Ash, for as long as electric basses have been built.

Do I have to use an expression pedal in combination with one of the Line6 foot controllers or can an expression pedal be connected directly to the Spider V? I just wanna play around with some gain and fuzzy sounds with my jazz bass and Rumble 25 (appartment life, unfortunately), so is this a good product or does it have a Fender tax on a okay product, and what would be a good alternative? of course this leaves you with two out cables, which unless you have a mixer, as I do, or an amp with more than one ‘in’ socket, this could be a problem. Of the 7 expression pedals I've got, all work as expected with the CV Express (they were either 10k, 22k or 100k pots inside).

If I have to use an expression pedal in combination with a foot controller, does the expression pedal have to be a specific Line6 pedal?
