I love this perfume, because I love flowery scents and especially rose, allthough in this scent the rose is subtle. For me this is a scent that I wear in spring and summer, when I want to smell fresh, it cools me down. It smells as if I just took a shower and I love to smell that clean, especially when it is warm outside.

Fair price. It is available in two sizes: 60ml (about 35-40 Euro) and 100ml (about 50 Euro). Like many other fragrances, they are more likely to be available in online shops, which can make a fragrance more interesting. The fragrance is not the most extraordinary, but good that it is not often represented. A big advantage for me is that this brand is very unknown here in Germany. You get good designer goods that are not transferred by the masses.

If you like the MI DNA, i'm sure this will please you. It doesn't smell exactly like it, but it's in the same ballpark. Unforgivable by Sean John too and Milestone. The difference though is this has less of that "salty" or "lemony" feel of the previous ones and is softer, more "clean" type of scent. There's no sweetness here so nothing that reminds you of the new-era of CH. Don't let the simplistic bottle fool you: This smells exactly as the name suggests - Chic. And I owned two bottles of Intuition by Estee Lauder, another scent that made me feel clean all day, and that I would like to own again.

Fall and Spring are ideal, although you might be able to pull it off in the Winter. The peppers in this would make it a bit difficult to pull this off in the hot Summers of Houston here. Very apt for the office/school, date, and just casual occasions given it's performance. Works well on anyone under 40, maybe save for anyone under 16. Then comes the stage of spices. I get a spicy aroma (with watermelon aspect to it), cardamom mostly, i do get pepper but i don't get the cinnamon much. And after that it dries down to a woody vibe, and the pepper stays with a little bit of watermelon. People voted watermelon the most as the main note but for me its the pepper. In connclusion: This fragrance smells amazing but it doesn’t project great as a matter of fact after wearing it for 2 months I’m sure it dies down to the skin after 30 mins. But, the magic is that even though you will definitely go nose blind to this within an hour after you apply it others can smell it on you for 8+hrs

It smells nice, but i can already tell that the longevity, projection and sillage is not good. Pretty soon after i sprayed this, it is already a skin scent. Just as in other CH Fragrances (CH Men, CH Privé) the longevity is just not there after the original release. Bad Boy & Bad Boy Parfum do have better performance to me. That sweet, juicy watermelon accord comes in swinging from the minute you first apply this scent. With some natural sweetness emanating from this fruit accord, spicy cinnamon and cardamom attempt to tame this rather sugary and emasculating opening. I have had many complement's from women asking me what's the name so they can buy it for their boyfriend or husband.Chic is another excellent men's cologne by Carolina Herrera who mastered the art of blending both citrusy notes with spicy/woodsy notes to create a unique high quality frag. When you first spray it you can smell a very fresh/clean aroma of bergamot, lemon and coriander. The mid notes of pepper and sandalwood give it a warm spicy blend. The base notes come alive when you smell both amber/woodsy(cedar) notes as well as Tonka beans which sweeten the frag after it has settled to give it a real sexy appeal. This scent isn't available in The Netherlands anymore, so on vacation on Curacao in 2009 I bought a bottle of 50 ml. That was long finished, when I went to Aruba in 2013, so then I bought a bottle of 80 ml. Because I own so much scents now, I fortunately still have enough.

The smell of the perfume is comfortable for the nerves, pleasant, you can not get bored of it, very elegant, easy to wear, a perfume that stands in the middle between the classic sharp perfumes, and the modern sweet perfumes. It starts off with fruity notes, i mostly get lemon and watermelon (watermelon is stronger than all the fruits here IMO), a bit orange. Chic for Men does not fall into this category. He is an uncomplicated all-rounder with an almost frightening versatility - I can only agree with Basti. Clearly born in summer, it can easily be worn in all seasons, provided it does not have to be "out in the fresh air" in winter. He'd catch a cold. It goes with a T-shirt, shirt and suit, a date, work, evening "Me Moments". He's friendly, cheerful, but he doesn't scream.
