With these tools, you can start recording, producing and processing straight out of the box. You can choose to monitor either the mic/line/instrument inputs (direct monitoring), outputs from the computer, or both. Rotate this knob to adjust the volume of speakers connected to the Monitor outputs. The output signal level meters (14) indicate the output levels. Connect your stereo speaker system to the monitor outputs. Connect the left speaker to Monitor 1/L and the right speaker to Monitor 2/R. Connect the MIDI OUT of your device to the MIDI IN on Volt, and the MIDI IN of the device to the MIDI OUT on Volt.
Hardware inputs 1-2 are routed directly to the monitor and headphone outputs, and also to the audio software.As with many tabletop interfaces, most controls are on the top panel. Each channel has a good-sized Gain knob for adjusting the input level. Above each Gain knob is a button labeled Vintage for turning on the 610 mic preamp emulation and one labeled 76 Compressor for turning on the 1176 FET-style compression.
