Okay, I guess I have been busy. Better get on with this, so here goes: ASTRAL RADIANCE: THE LOST SET. As with all the UK/US/Euro Pokemon sets, Astral Radiance is a combination of a number of Japanese sets, in this case Time Gazer, Space Juggler, Battle Region (not Battle Styles – bleurgh!) and VMAX Climax. The last set is the source of most of the Trainer Gallery. The expansion focuses on the Origin Formes of Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia, which debuted in the core series title Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The two are included as Pokémon V and Pokémon VSTAR cards. The expansion also includes previously unknown Pokémon from the Hisui region, including a number of regional forms. The final evolutions of the Hisui starter Pokémon, Decidueye, Typhlosion, and Samurott, are all depicted on Pokémon V and Pokémon VSTAR cards in their regional forms. Astral Radiance is the tenth main Sword & Shield Series expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and is set to release on May 27, 2022. In Japan, it is set to release as the dual Time Gazer and Space Juggler on April 8, 2022, which together form the tenth expansion of the Pokémon Card Game Sword & Shield Era. Astral Radiance is expected to consist of cards sourced from the Japanese Time Gazer and Space Juggler expansions, the Battle Region subset, and some remaining cards from the VMAX Climax subset.
