Description

EFT tapping is an alternative treatment for certain emotional and physical conditions. Some research indicates that it may be effective for anxiety, depression, and PTSD, although more investigation is necessary. When there are major sporting or entertainment events, we may open gates at stations to help with congestion. This week we are looking at two words which may be confused by learners of English: produce and product. Improve your English with Collins. The basic technique requires you to focus on the negative emotion at hand: a fear or anxiety, a bad memory, an unresolved problem, or anything that’s bothering you. While maintaining your mental focus on this issue, use your fingertips to tap 5-7 times each on 12 of the body’s meridian points ( see explanation and video below ) .

In a 2013 study, 30 veterans who received EFT treatment along with standard care had significantly less psychological distress and PTSD symptoms than those who were on a waiting list for treatment. This is not one particular point, rather it’s a collection of many meridian points. Tapping on the top of the head opens the crown chakra and promotes spiritual connection, while “anchoring in” the new balance and alignment from the completed tapping round. When tapping, use two or more fingertips and repeat the tap approximately five times on each point. Complete the tap. If the tap does not go any further or the desired depth has been reached, release pressure on the tap; it has likely bottomed out. Remove the tap from the hole. Hand tap Tool TAPPING PROCEDURE FOR LATHESeveral recent studies suggest that EFT may be effective for some conditions, such as anxiety and PTSD. Boath, E., et al. (2017). Tapping your way to success: Using emotional freedom techniques (EFT) to reduce anxiety and improve communication skills in social work students [Abstract]. Within a month, participants receiving EFT coaching sessions had significantly reduced their psychological stress. In addition, more than half of the EFT test group no longer fit the criteria for PTSD. Oddly enough, our bodies physically respond to modern-day stressors – a deadline at work, an angry boss, kids acting out – in the same manner.

Today it’s estimated that 10 million people worldwide have used tapping to help alleviate issues like depression, anxiety, and insomnia, as well as severe PTSD, physical pain, and even illness. How to Use Tapping

How to touch in and out

EFT has been used to effectively treat war veterans and active military with PTSD. In a 2013 study, researchers studied the impact of EFT tapping on veterans with PTSD against those receiving standard care. When the tap is screwed into a hole it removes metal and cuts internal threads for tapping the hole If you're travelling from Wimbledon, touch in on the gates when you enter Wimbledon station and again on the tram yellow card reader on platform 10before getting on.
