This may have something to do with me preferring novels and scenarios that could actually happen in real life, so cycles of memory loss seem a bit far-fetched for me and I found it more difficult to connect with the storyline. Charlie Wynwood and Silas Nash have been best friends since they could walk. They've been in love since the age of fourteen. But as of this morning...they are complete strangers. Their first kiss, their first fight, the moment they fell in love...every memory has vanished. Now Charlie and Silas must work together to uncover the truth about what happened to them and why. Additionally, a fellow student from school may have some unexpected ties to Charlie’s past that neither she nor Silas were expecting. Anyhow, if you are like me and was a bit hesitant because you didn’t like Ugly Love, or The Opportunist, well you will not be disappointed with Never Never. This is the first book of a series co-written by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher. Colleen wrote the guy's POV, Tarryn wrote the girl's, and the two halves of the story were blended together seamlessly.

I haven’t liked a CoHo read since Hopeless. I was starting to think I woke up in la la land and everyone was invaded by body snatchers because I just didn’t get it.

My favorite of this novella is of course, Silas's POV. I love him. I love every moment I'm in his head like seriously, the humor and the sexiness combined into one. *swoons My stalking ventures have already commenced but so far I haven’t seen any teasers yet for the second and final book of this series. Oh I also totally guessed which author wrote which character I think friends will easily appreciate both author’s touches and join me in counting down the days till May 18th!! My main problem is such a story would have been so much more appropriate if the MCs weren’t in high school. It greatly bothered me that cheating and sleeping around with the guidance counselor, no less! MY GOODNESS! would be ordinary occurrences. I think this is the main thing that ruined the story- the choice of characters.

Charlie Wynwood and Silas Nash have been best friends since they could walk. They've been in love since the age of fourteen. But as of this morning... they are complete strangers. Their first kiss, their first fight, the moment they fell in love... every memory has vanished. I could literally do this gif over and over...and over! Every time I thought I had something figured out, nope - see gif! ;)It doesn't take them long to find out, that both had their horrible secrets. Learning more and more about themselves, they begin to question whether they would even like to become the person they've been again. And the even bigger question: what did they see in each other? Despite all this, their time together wakes up feelings inside them both. What ensues is all about them finding out who they were in their 'past lives' and trying to find clues to the mystery of their missing memories. Ultimately getting to know each other all over again. They don't feel like themselves at all, but all they know is they only have each other.

I find it very amusing when the characters were trying to resolve the mystery to their situation by referring to popular fairytales. The one thing I know for sure...I would take Silas as a boyfriend any day...memory or not. He is that yummy! Then there is Charlie. Once again, it didn’t surprise me that Tarryn wrote her. She has that snarky kind of humor that Tarryn does so well. Despite the fact that this story continues to get more and more far-fetched, I found myself listening the audiobook intently. I would have liked it if it were toned down a little more, but I can't deny that I enjoyed it. I'm not trying to be smug or anything but somehow I had a feeling the book was going to start that way and was going to end that particular way too. Please don't pelt me with tomatoes especially because I have to use this gif. Lol! The Number One Sunday Times bestselling author of It Ends with Us joins forces with the New York Times bestselling author of The Wives for a gripping, twisty, romantic mystery unlike any other.
