As the Clone Wars raged across the galaxy, Pre Vizsla plotted to toppled Duchess Satine's pacifistic regime. Vizsla's delusional speech to the people of Mandalore. https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/File:Clone_Wars_Season_5_Takeover_of_Mandalore.wav Dramatic angles are present throughout traditional Mandalorian design and the Kom'rk-class Starfighter definitely maintains that style. This distinctive vessel occupies both starfighter and transport roles and is surprisingly large onscreen, hence the LEGO creation has necessitated certain compromises. Nevertheless, this model captures an appropriate shape and measures 31cm in length, which is relatively substantial. Gar Saxon appears anything but generic, sporting an extraordinary helmet which confirms his loyalty to Maul and the Shadow Collective! The distinctive horns appear slightly too short when compared with the source material, although their angular design is appealing. Moreover, I love the yellow visor and red markings that differentiate this Mandalorian helmet from others. When landing, these starfighters' wings rotate upwards, so occupy less ground area. That vital feature appears here, employing exactly the same technique as 9525 Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter. The engine nacelles therefore become landing supports and I was pleasantly surprised that both spring-loaded shooters avoid interference with the landing configuration.

After imprisoning Maul and Oppress, he proceeded to claim the title of Prime Minister of Mandalore for himself. But to Vizsla's surprise, Maul and Opress, in addition to Almec, were able to escape from the prison. Once they entered the throne room, Maul challenged Vizsla to a duel in single combat, which he accepted when his subordinates look to him. He told Bo-Katan to give Maul his lightsaber.Unfortunately, this construction method inevitably leaves the underside of plates exposed. The same problem has impacted other sets, although this example is especially bothersome as the landing configuration clearly shows the underside of each wing. That significantly detracts from the starfighter, but I am unsure how this issue could have been rectified without weakening the structure or dramatically increasing the cost.

I am Pre Vizsla. We are the Death Watch, descendants of the true warrior faith all Mandalorians once knew. Now my people are living in exile because we will not abandon our heritage. Our people were warriors. Strong. Feared. Now they're ruled by the New Mandalorians who think that being a pacifist is a good thing. They've given away our honor and tradition for peace. Vizsla is voiced in The Clone Wars by American director Jon Favreau, who was cast when Filoni learned that he was a fan of Star Wars. The two met at Skywalker Ranch while Favreau was working on the 2008 film Iron Man. While showing Filoni some of his work on Iron Man, Favreau mentioned off-hand that he was interested in voicing a character in The Clone Wars, and it happened that the role of Vizsla had not been cast yet. The part marked Favreau's first contribution to the Star Wars franchise, [66] and he would later create the live-action television series The Mandalorian. [69] Favreau reprised the role of Vizsla in later seasons of The Clone Wars, voicing the character in three more episodes. [30] [6] [8] According to an interview with Filoni that was featured in Star Wars Insider 115, the name "Pre" is a title of stature, like "pre-eminent," while the "Vizsla" name came from Tor Vizsla, the original leader of Death Watch who was featured in the 2002 Jango Fett: Open Seasons comic book series. [66] Vizsla was given an entry in the The Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia book, released in June 2010. [70] He was also featured in Hasbro's 2010 toy figure line. [71] They could not engineer all this. The problem has clearly grown much larger than we thought, and I suspect some external force helped it along." We are the Death Watch, descendants of the true warrior faith all Mandalorians once knew. Now my people are living in exile because we will not abandon our heritage." ―Pre Vizsla [6] You lead the Council of Neutral Systems, thus you threaten the Separatists' goals. Take it as a compliment. Someone very powerful is working towards your downfall." ―Satine Kryze and Governor Pre Vizsla, on the Death Watch [7]Vizsla had the brothers transported to the Death Watch's encampment on Zanbar, where Maul was outfitted with new cybernetic legs to replace the crude, makeshift prosthesis crafted for him by the Nightsister matriarch Mother Talzin, and Savage provided with an artificial substitute for the arm severed by Obi-Wan Kenobi's blade. Maul and Vizsla found a common enemy in Obi-Wan Kenobi and formed an unstable alliance.

Because Kryze had been present at Peace Park during the bombing, Kenobi and her royal guard, [7] the Mandalorian Protectors, [28] were able to respond immediately. Frightened, the Death Watch bomber attempted to flee, only to commit suicide once cornered by Kenobi. As Kryze consoled the dying man, he spoke to her in Concordian, leading her to realize that he had been native to Concordia. Kenobi requested a visit to Concordia as part of his investigation, and Kryze scheduled a meeting with Vizsla. Accepting her proposal, Vizsla, donning his persona as Governor of Concordia, awaited Kryze and Kenobi, who traveled on the shuttle transporting the bomber's corpse. Vizsla welcomed the duchess when they arrived at the government complex, and Satine introduced him to Master Kenobi. As Vizsla and Kenobi nodded at one another, Kryze told the latter that Vizsla had been a leading part of her official investigation into the activities of the Death Watch. [7] Following her introduction during Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Bo-Katan Kryze has appeared prominently during Star Wars Rebels and The Mandalorian too. This character's bright armour has remained reasonably consistent between distinct television series and her helmet displays particularly intricate detail, corresponding precisely with the source material. He arrested Kryze, but when Maul arrived in the city, Vizsla informed Maul that he had no intention of spreading their success to the other 2,000 neutral systems. Maul was arrested by Vizsla's men, and he and Opress were taken to the Sundari prison. However, Vizsla said that he would still honor their agreement about removing Kenobi, but that Maul would have to submit to Vizsla's rule. Our combined strength will be rewarded. Mandalore will be yours, and Kenobi, this Sith pretender Dooku, and all our enemies will fall ." there are 2 types of mandalorian fighters, the big troop transports and the small fighters used by the Protectors in Rebels. this seems to be the smaller kind, not the big ones that are large transports/dropships, so the complaint about the size seems off to me.The fuselage should house Mandalorians for deployment and that could perhaps have been achieved if the model was larger, as mentioned in the review.
