About this deal

One review reports that several studies failed to find any evidence that cocoa butter prevents stretch marks during pregnancy. They add that there is also no evidence that any topical cream prevents stretch marks. But lo’ behold! My radiant complexion continued to improve day after day – becoming smoother than ever before; which could mean there are active ingredients contained within its tiny composition or at least something worth considering further study about, if not just purely miraculous chance.

Cocoa contains several antioxidants called polyphenols, which are a group of plant-derived chemicals with a range of potential health benefits. These polyphenols may have benefits for good skin health, such as reducing inflammation and protecting the skin from sun damage. One cell study suggests that cocoa polyphenols improved skin elasticity and skin aging and suggested that cocoa butter may enhance these effects. However, this was a small-scale study, and scientists need to carry out more research before they know the exact effects of cocoa butter on the skin. 2. Moisturizing the skin I highly recommend Queen Elizabeth cocoa butter cream to anyone suffering from dry or chapped skin. It is also great for those whose skin have been damaged by sun or bleaching. It comes from the cocoa beans harvested near Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire and made by a cosmetic company called Sipaco-ci.

Queen Elizabeth Cocoa Butter Ingredients:

Many people believe that cocoa butter can prevent stretch marks from developing, especially during pregnancy. I have used the Queen Elizabeth hand and body cream for 2 years now. I have always used it for my face and it did wonders!

It also cleared the discoloration on my legs, elbows and ankles. I didn’t really expect much apart from deeply moisturizing my entire body but this small but mighty cream surprised me. Some people suggest that cocoa butter can improve the skin, and it may have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. The research into these benefits, however, is limited. Cocoa butter could help to promote skin health and moisturize the skin. Though many people find cocoa butter beneficial, there is currently little to no scientific evidence that supports these claims. More research in this area may provide some evidence for the benefits of cocoa butter in the future. Some food manufacturers substitute less expensive materials in place of cocoa butter. Several analytical methods exist for testing for diluted cocoa butter. Adulterated cocoa butter is indicated by its lighter color and its diminished fluorescence upon ultraviolet illumination. Unlike cocoa butter, adulterated fat tends to smear and have a higher non-saponifiable content. [12] Skrzypiec, Marcin (12 January 2016). "Can Cocoa Powder Go Bad?". Can It Go Bad? . Retrieved 10 March 2022.

It has taught me not to underrate a simple looking product. Queen Elizabeth cocoa butter lotion made my skin uniform from head to toe. It has a lovely smell as well. It made my skin healthy looking, youthful and more elastic.

Where To Buy Queen Elizabeth Cream:

Cocoa butter is a type of vegetable fat that comes from cocoa beans. Manufacturers extract creamy cocoa butter from the beans by fermenting, drying, roasting, and then pressing them. They turn the remaining portion into cocoa powder. Pure cocoa butter is edible. However, it contains a mixture of monounsaturated and saturated fats and few nutrients. Cocoa butter typically has a melting point of around 34–38°C (93–100°F), so chocolate is solid at room temperature but readily melts once inside the mouth. Cocoa butter displays polymorphism, having different crystalline forms with different melting points. Conventionally the assignment of cocoa butter crystalline forms uses the nomenclature of Wille and Lutton [19] with forms I, II, III, IV, V and VI having melting points 17.3,23.3,25.5,27.5,33.8, and 36.3°C (63.1,73.9,77.9,81.5,92.8, and 97.3°F), respectively. The production of chocolate aims to crystallise the chocolate so that the cocoa butter is predominantly in form V, which is the most stable form that can be obtained from melted cocoa butter. (Form VI either develops in solid cocoa butter after long storage, or is obtained by crystallisation from solvents). A uniform form V crystal structure will result in smooth texture, sheen, and snap. This structure is obtained by chocolate tempering. Melting the cocoa butter in chocolate and then allowing it to solidify without tempering leads to the formation of unstable polymorphic forms of cocoa butter. This can easily happen when chocolate bars are allowed to melt in a hot room and leads to the formation of white patches on the surface of the chocolate called fat bloom or chocolate bloom. [3] Further reading [ edit ] I hesitated before trying this product because I thought it might make my chocolate skin darker – but then a friend convinced me to buy some anyway, saying how much her stretch marks had improved after using it consistently for only two weeks!

The following sections will explore the evidence for the benefits of cocoa butter. 1. Boosting skin health Chew, Norma (24 November 2011). "What Are The Benefits of Cocoa Butter?". LiveStrong . Pure cocoa butter does not contain any ingredients that are likely to cause problems in most people. cocoa mass, also known as cocoa liquor or chocolate liquor. Chocolate liquor is pressed to separate the cocoa butter from the non-fat cocoa solids. [4] Cocoa butter is sometimes deodorized to remove strong or undesirable tastes. [5]
