This book was definitely a slow burn for me but when it got going with the twists and turns it really was an attention grabber and kept you hooked right until the end. My Other Husband is fantastic in so many ways, it draws you into Cleo’s life, like your standing outside the window watching the drama unfold. The story then flips back to her student days where she first meets Heath, a fellow student who develops an obsession with Cleo that never ends.

For anyone that has read this authors books before, you know that you fall into the storyline hook line and sinker, and that you just keep reading. The complex characters we follow in her latest novel centre on Cleo Forsum Pryce who we first meet in the present day when she is charged with attempted murder. I loved the alternating timelines that helped build a picture of the complex relationships between the characters over the years but out of all of them I think I loved Lola the most with her witty attitude and sass.
