The second audio commentary, which features a patched-in by phone appearance by producer and fan Michael Felsher, is a very funny and informative discussion of the film.

The still galleries contain a total of 98 on-set stills, behind-the-scenes photos, press materials, posters, lobby cards, memorabilia, and newspaper clippings. With that being said, the film does start the beginning of stories that are little more out there and far fetched. When filling out your form, you will need to upload a copy of your proof of purchase (photo or scan of receipt or digital receipt from online retailer). Much like Carpenter’s Halloween and Halloween II, I feel that these two are on the same level and work perfectly when played back to back. Behind the Story offers a picture-in-picture experience combined with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. This set will include both new and existing extras, plus a collectible rigid slipcover with newly-commissioned art, a brand new 40 page collectible essay booklet with archival photography, and most importantly, new 4K film transfers for Parts 1-4. He is a bit of an odd duck in the film and doesn’t really fit in but his Sam Winchester performance does oddly work here.

Up until this point we were given something additional that stuck with the franchise in each previous film. The home is located near Crystal Lake where she suffered an attack at the hands of a disfigured man (Jason). Over the years I’ve realized that Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter is one of the fan favorites among horror fans. The pacing is fairly smooth and we get plenty of slasher action to break up some of the more slower scenes. Fresh Cuts speaks to most of the same members of the cast and crew, as well as others, telling random stories about the making of the film.

When I was in elementary school I watched the entire Friday the 13th series with my grandmother for the first time, at least the movies that were released up to that point.

Life, Death, and Jason Voorhees interviews Tom McLoughlin at the same cemetery, speaking mostly on the same subjects. I’ve always enjoyed this one just as much as the previous two films and the characters in this one are some of my favorite of the series. The Friday the 13th (2009) Electronic Press Kit features interviews with the cast and crew, as well as B-Roll footage. They were all fun but I was so shocked by how much better most of the movies were than Jason Goes to Hell. After I wasted some time on these I decided it was time to focus on the actual slasher franchise now. Tales from the Cutting Room Floor features a series of deleted, extended, and alternate scenes from Friday the 13th, Part IV, Part VI, and Part VII, the latter featuring commentary by John Carl Buechler and Kane Hodder. The kills are fun and the story starts something than is never fully explored but stands without saying.
