Blake has been in love with Theo for a long time but he only ever sees her as his best friend's sister so now at the same college as Theo she decides that she needs to move on with her life. Blake is strong-minded, spirited, innocent, and stubborn, whereas Theo is controlling, bossy, jealous, and overprotective of Blake. Don’t Let Me Go tells the story of Theo, the boy next door, and Blakely, his best friend's little sister, colliding with an inevitable attraction that was years in the making. If you love a wonderful long story with strong-minded characters, then this spectacular book is for you!

They make a big deal about it, making the “best hokey team” lose a game, just so Colt can say “I know you’ve always loved her. Ash, Colt, Theo, Blakely, Kate, Mia, Mack, and hopefully more Henry have a way about them that leaves a lasting impression and I can’t get enough. Which would be a heck of a lot easier if Theo hadn't made it his mission to be my own personal chastity belt for the foreseeable future. Blake is a child, at times i thought ok, she's maybe on her way to handling stuff like a badass but it just kept coming back to the same conclusion.Theo had me smiling and ready to knock him in the face but then smiling right after with his crazy love declarations.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. She ends up in the same college as her brother and Theo and after seeing what he acts like she decides its time to move on with one of his hockey team mates. The push and pull between them throughout the whole novel, gosh it kept me on my tippy toes, I was like no!I read “Don’t Let Me Fall” and had my issues with it and honestly, this is the same book, but with worse character development and the same storyline. Another great addition to the Don't let Me series following the LAU hockey team’s star players and their incredible, strong girlfriends. I love Blakely’s and Theon’s story and appreciated the snippets into the other characters continued stories.

He’s been in love with her since they were small children but with his position in her life, does not think he could ever cross that line, and she also believes this is a line that can never be crossed - especially now she has an internship as the team’s new physical trainer and therapist. So we all know the saying 'Don't Judge a Book by It's Cover' but let's be real when we're looking at books the first thing to catch our eye is the cover; whelp the cover I saw didn't provide an idea that is was even a romance, never mind a romance that was going to have me so invested I forgot to eat lunch. I couldn't put this book down as it was a real page turner with great characters and a storyline that pulled you in and I can't wait to read the next book in this series. This is the second book in the series, it is a brother's best friends sister, enemy's to lovers romance. Let's start at the end, shall we because for some unknown reason the epilogue just got me all tered up like a lunatic and it was all full of happy cozy feels. But the way she says at one point how “it’s always been his” makes me wonder if we really have progressed as a society. She never listened either and the hypocrisy of her going on about communication when she was constantly shutting Theo out. I love the brothers best friend trope, and almost want to rate this higher because it had that trope, but no, you want that trope, there’s so many other books that’s better. Blakely was such a strong character, speaking up for herself, going after what she wanted and not taking any shit from anyone, Theo included. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to feel so connected to the characters that you feel everything they go through!

This was a nice addition to the series and I can’t wait to find out what happens for the next couple.

I loved how fiercely protective he was with Blakely, having her best interests at heart even if he didn't always show it in the right way. Blake has been in love with Theo for years, but thinks he has only ever seen her as his best friends sister. I absolutely loved this book and how hard Theo and Blake had to fight how they feel about each other but how will it all end well you will just have to read this book to find out but you will not be disappointed with the outcome. At first i kind of thought Theo was being annoying and he was being too much of an over protective big brother to Blake than her actual brother, but I quickly started to love his and Blake’s tit for tat relationship.
