Which lash pad did you choose? The lash pad is the foundation of everything here. Feel free to vary with the sizes of the lash pads as well, because the same size is not suitable for everyone. Yes, but it is recommended that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after treatment. You may not need to apply mascara anyway. However, if you want to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is recommended, as removing waterproof mascaras can put a lot of stress on the lashes and weaken the lift. Avoid using oil-based products for 48 hours near the lashes. Oil-based products can dissolve the bonding solution and cause the lift to become less effective.

The procedure involves applying a lifting solution to the lashes, followed by a setting solution to help the lift hold its shape. The lifted lashes are then tinted to enhance their appearance. The process typically takes about an hour to complete and does not require any recovery time. How to Do A Lash Lift Natural-looking results: Lash lifting uses the client's own natural lashes, so the results look natural and are less noticeable than extensions or false lashes. It is best to tint your lashes after the treatment. You can find more about this in the instructions. Lash lifts involve the use of chemicals and the handling of a delicate eye area, so it is important to have a thorough understanding of the proper techniques and safety measures before attempting a lash lift. It is highly recommended that beginners undergo Flawless Lashes online training before offering lash lift services. After lotion 1 has had a chance to process for the recommended amount of time, it's time to remove it and apply the lotion 2. Like the lotion 1, the lotion 2 should be applied using a small brush or applicator, and it should be applied to the lashes in the same way that the lotion 1 was applied. Once the lotion 2 has been applied, you will need to leave it to process for a few minutes, again depending on the specific product that you are using and the desired level of curl while considering the natural lash condition. 7. Remove Silicon Pads As with any treatment, good client aftercare is vital. It’s important to make sure your clients understand the steps they need to follow to ensure their lashes stay lifted and long. A lash lift should last up to 8 weeks depending on how the lashes are cared for. Here are our aftercare tips you can share with your clients: You might like to consider using a small strip of micro-pore tape along the lash line on the upper lid as the shield adheres much better to the tape rather than skin for some clients. It is makes it much easier to clean up following treatment as you don’t need to worry about removing lash adhesive from the client’s upper eye lid skin, it will come away simply when you remove the small strip of tape. You can also use two small strips of micro-pore tape applied vertically to help ‘lift’ and hold any looser skin on the eye lid such as for mature clients making it much easier to get the shield positioned on the lash line. Our eyelash lifting set contains reusable soft and super elastic Lash Lift Pads. They are used to treat short natural lashes for maximum effect. For this step, you will need to use curved silicon pads, lash lift shields, and rods which are specifically designed to conform to the contours of the upper eyelid. To apply those silicone shields, gently lift up the upper eyelid and place the pad over the lid, close to the lash line. Make sure to smooth out any creases or wrinkles. 3. Apply Lash Adhesive

Barbicide is a disinfectant that cosmetologists and barbers use for killing any bacteria that might be left on grooming tools after being used. Here’s how to use this solution: This step is important because it helps to keep the lashes healthy and strong, and it can also help to extend the life of the lash lift treatment. To apply the lush plump, you can use a small brush or applicator to coat the lashes with the product, making sure to get an even, consistent layer. Let's say that you used a small shield on your client's lashes. When the lift pad is removed, you see the lashes kinking from the tips. Since the adhesive has been applied, there's nothing you can do except clean the lashes and wait for a few weeks. Give the lift another try after some time.

A Note on DIY Lash Lifts

Everyone’s lashes have a different natural silhouette. The degree to which they naturally curl will factor into the final result of the eyelash perming treatment.

When you are placing the lift pad, the eyelashes must reach the middle. After the perming solution is applied, comb the eyelashes with precise strokes. If the eyelashes don't stretch to the middle, use a smaller pad. If the lashes go past the center, increase the size of the pad. Long-lasting results: Lash lifting can last for several weeks, so clients can enjoy longer-looking lashes without the need for daily maintenance. I am a big fan of playing around with the shield shapes, sizes, and positions, and I hope this article will help you understand this process and fall in love with this step of the lash lifts! The selected silicone pad is fixed to the eyelid with an eyelash lifting adhesive. The lashes should have a good stretch on the rods. By following these aftercare tips, your clients can help maintain the results of their lash lift treatment and keep their lashes looking beautiful and lifted without sacrificing the lash growth cycle in the future. Why should you get a lash lift?

Hold the clean shield against the upper lashes and look at how far up the natural lashes will sit on the shield. You’re ideally aiming for the natural lashes to reach all the way across the shield to the top of the shield but you don’t want lashes poking off the end. An eyelash lifting pad is placed exactly in the zone of eyelash growth. Always place the eyelash lifting silicone pad correctly. As you lay out the lashes, make sure they extend from the growth line past the eye line and don't seem to droop over the eyelid. It is also important to keep the symmetry in the direction of the hair on the two eyes. Every millimeter is important here - even a small difference can ruin the result. Special silicone pads lift and fix the eyelashes for the right styling. Silicone eyelash lifting pads are tailored to the shape of the eyes and the size of the eyelashes. A wrong selection will lead to an unsatisfactory result. These shields are made out super soft silicone for maximal comfort and their asymmetrical shape is ideal for creating that lifted yet curled look. The natural lashes are easy to secure on the shields, thanks to the matte finish of the silicone pads. Includes 6 pairs. You may need to trim the lash shield at the outer corner side to achieve a better fit for your client. You might also like to consider use of a small amount of micro-pore tape to help hold the shield down better but ensuring none of the lashes are trapped in the tape, of course!

Don’t do anything to your lashes. Give the lashes time to recover for a few days to ensure that the lift lasts as long as possible. You will need to use a small brush or applicator to gently coat the eyelashes with the bonding solution - lash lift adhesive. Once the lashes are thoroughly coated with the bonding solution, use the brush or applicator to gently push the lashes against the silicon pads, making sure that they are lying flat against the pads and are fully adhered. They should be very well brushed to avoid crisscrossing natural lashes. If the client’s lashes are long but the rod is too small, they’ll end up with too intense of a curl. The only way to ensure the best lash lift is by choosing the right silicone pads. For more curled and longer-looking lashes, you need to select a shield that does not suit the length of your current lashes, or else you could end up with over-permed lashes. That’s a look you don’t want to have… trust us! If the rod is too large for their comparatively short lashes, they’ll end up with a barely visible curl or no curling at all.
