Eb clarinet reeds are also suitable for use with C-Lyons or Nuvo Clarineo plastic clarinets.

The standard flute in C comes with a wide variety of options from the silver plated student models to flutes which are precious metal throughout. There is also the option of closed hole which the vast majority of student flutes are, or open hole which is more common in advanced models.

pBrass Instruments or Plastic ‘brass’ Instruments are a fantastic invention, resulting in many brass players accessing instruments they wouldn’t normally have had the chance to. They are great for children or for a beginner which is looking for a budget buy in the brass family and great for the school or education authority who want something that will last but at low cost. The jFlute is the perfect first flute choice for ages 4 to 10. It plays fully chromatically with standard flute fingering down to low D. It can be easily upgraded with our jFlute Upgrade Kit. which includes a straight head joint and C foot joint. The jFlute comes with the patented Firstnote lip plate as well as the standard lip plate. jSax The jSax, has been designed for players who are more specifically interested in progressing onto the saxophone. Again, like the DooD, the jSax is a single reed instrument helping to build a players sound production, posture and basic fingerings. The jSax is supplied with a carry case, a fingering chart, and 2 plastic reeds. You can also use cane reeds for a more traditional playing feel. Some soprano saxophone mouthpiece will also fit the jSax, which allows a stepped progression towards saxophone playing.The jSax is pitched in C like all other NUVO instruments so it can play along with all WindStars music. It has a fully chromatic range from middle C to G in the next octave. For beginners with small fingers there is a set of plugs (training wheels!) which can be used to help seal the tone holes in the early days of learning.
