The whole idea was as hilarious as it was preposterous, so I confess I did come into this already already biased towards the writer and artist, and they did not let me down, either one of them. Of course, I'm way to old for this kind of a book, but that didn't prevent me from maximizing my enjoyment and having some fun with it. Shopping for pressies for my nephew! (I read it. It counts. It's December and I am behind my reading goals!) This book is great for kids of any age but I'm sure this is PERFECT for any family with little boys. I Need a New Butt is by far is my boys (4 &6 yr) favorite bedtime book. They are constantly asking for the "bottom" book and then they spend the whole time giggling. This book is just down right silly, there's not really a point to it which makes it more hilarious to them. The wording is simple and this book is just long enough to entertain the children without being too long for the parent to enjoy reading to them. This book was wonderfully hilarious and had me in absolute stitches. It's the kind of book which you just have to share with others, regardless of their age it will inevitably bring pleasure and brighten up their day. The illustrations are brilliant and greatly add to the story, bringing even more comic value to the story too! All in all, this was a lot of fun and a fantastic short enjoyable read.

Juan is the person employees go to when knowledge of a topic was needed. juan holds ________ power. The ending, I was wondering how it would go, butt I definitely hadn’t seen that one coming. It is a good ending! The only reason why I read this was because I saw that a principle down south was fired for reading it. You’ll see that I do a lot of readers for schools. I enjoy doing these. They’re like a story and a puzzle combined. The story is the most important part but there are lots of reading level challenges to get right too. The readers go all over the world, with some of them translated into other languages.It can be difficult getting kids interested in books and reading. Any book that can capture a kid's interest and have them wanting to read it again, and then read another book is a good book - a great book.

A definate 5 stars for this one, it was so fun to watch my niece laughing and enjoying herself and watch how it got her imagination working overtime. This is the kind of book that can engage kids into reading books. The illustrations are colourful, relevant to the text, and funny. The story itself is the right level of sillyness and playfulness that you want in a kids book. Not surprisingly it abounds in bum and fart jokes, and even has some bum puns. Admittedly, the text may not earn the author a spot in Poet's Corner, but then again, this is not supposed to be high poetry. I was first introduced to this book by The Scottish Granny on Youtube, who read it aloud to her very young grandson between snorts of laughter. Sounded perfect. I Need a New Bum’ (2018) – by Dawn McMillan, with illustrations by Ross Kinnaird – is a fun and silly story aimed squarely at its target audience demographic of largely bum/pooh fixated 2-6 year olds. And then follows the quest on what new butt to choose. There are all sorts of butts, from coloured ones to flair (taking the saying to a new and literal level). I had so much fun seeing him think of all the butts he could have, and BOY there are many. I would definitely not mind having a choice of butts. Would be fun! I laughed a lot during this part. So so much.

But in positioning the act of reading a book as a violation of ethics, the district is implying that any educator could be terminated under similar circumstances, whenever an anonymous source feels a book read to students is ‘inappropriate’ for any reason. I mean how can you not like the idea? I could hardly believe it was written by a woman, but then why the hell not? She obviously knows on which side her bread is butt-ered, and a woman can be a gluteus for punishment just like a man.... I was honestly quite impressed by her creativity, and I don't think she's bottomed-out yet, so I'd love to read something by her which is written with a more mature (but equally playful) aspect, to which she will no doubt respond tush-hey! I'm sure that Dawn McMillan isn't one to sit-upon her laurels.... We have a lot of reluctant readers,” Price said. “I am a firm believer that reluctant readers need the silly, funny books to hook them in.”
