Technology

Compression lets the polyurethane springs condense, and air moves freely from the space. Meanwhile, the remaining air can support the pressure point within the micro-coils. Over time, repeated compression causes air to leak out of the closed cells. Because the cells shut it out, air cannot return to the foam. This process of exhalation deflates the foam. OPEN-CELL VS. CLOSED-CELL FOAM It isn’t very soft or flexible or notably resistant to mildew or bacteria. This series is not well-suited to contexts where it will be continuously exposed to dampness. RECOMMENDED USE It can also be used for battery pads and cushions. It is a comfortable foam to touch, so it works well in contexts where someone will have to feel it (either directly or one layer removed).

HH is a harder product, primarily being used for the foot pads of audio devices, home electric appliances and office appliances. The C type that has excellent gripping property is also available. Thin PORON Foam– PORON urethane foam is available in very thin grades often used for dust and splash seals for electronic devices.The PORON 4790-92 foam is predominantly used for gaskets and gap-filling. Its softness enables it to fit entirely into small gaps, and its slow expansion means it will unfurl precisely in the space you've placed the foam into. After poron is subjected to pressure, it will expand to return to its original size and shape, or at least until it meets a new pressure or impact. As a result, it can be an extremely dependable material for use in a wide range of applications across many industries. The fit and finish of the EK75 is absolutely fantastic.
