One day I got a phone call from a relative of mine and got seriously chewed out. Why? The reason was the art of myself in volume one. My aunt saw the picture of me eating ramen, and said "Is he only eating ramen again?! every time you came over to my house, you demanded instant noodles instead of the home-cooked meal I had ready for you! You'd better be getting your vegetables!" Don't worry, auntie - I am eating my vegetables. (P.S. They just came out with instant noodles and "Cheese Curry Flavour." It's really tasty.)

Masashi Kishimoto (岸本 斉史 Kishimoto Masashi) is a Japanese manga artist, well known for creating the manga series Naruto. His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) and Blazer Drive. Two of his former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand's), have also gone on to moderate success following their work on Naruto. Characters: Naruto- I love how he keeps developing throughout this volume. He grows as a character. He makes a plan that no one expects him too! I will support him throughout the whole manga! Kakashi- He is so awesome. He has faith in his students! He also shows his strength in this volume. He is pretty cool with the Sharingan as well. Naruto is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. It tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who seeks to gain recognition from his peers and also dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. The story is in two parts, the first set in Naruto's pre-teen years, and the second in his teens. The series is based on two one-shot manga by Kishimoto: Karakuri (1995), which earned Kishimoto an honorable mention in Shueisha's monthly Hop Step Award the following year, and Naruto (1997).Gato is angry that the two ninja that Zabuza sent out didn't complete the task. Zabuza goes to fight them. While fighting Zabuza Kakashi is caught in the water prison jutsu. He tells Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura to run. They stay to fight. Naruto is able to come up with a plan. They help free Kakashi. The second volume of Naruto is just as good as the first, except in this volume the characters are expanded on and the reader gets to see more of the world Naruto and his friends inhabit. Also introduced to another range of characters that are decieving and fearsome. Tired of menial tasks, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura ask for a tougher assignment. But you should always be careful what you wish for! Along with their sensei, Kakashi, the trio must guard a cranky old man from the Land of Waves. But Tazuna the bridge builder is in more danger than anyone could have imagined. And now the young ninja are too! In this volume the characters are expanded on and the reader gets to see more of the world Naruto and his friends inhabit. Sasuke defeats them easily. Naruto froze up while he was in battle. He gets wounded by a poison kunai. He vows to never freeze up again. He cuts the poison out of his hand and makes a vow of pain.
