Of course, the 100 Grand doesn’t truly have the “crunch” that a Crunch bar has, given the gooey addition of caramel. Of course, they do tweak their presentation and flavor availability by country—after all, they take care to know their audience.

Launched in 1981, discontinued in 2003, relaunched in 2007 temporarily, but relaunched again in 2008 permanently. Many years after Nestlé retired the ad, that mixture of nostalgia and widespread familiarity (advertising a well-liked product) could only lead to memes. Thus was born one of the companies that made the history and fortune of chocolate, creator of inimitable (but often imitated) products such as the Ambassador (1890) and Fémina (1902) pralines, the legendary Branches (1904), the delicate Frigor (1923) or Rayon, the light chocolate like a cloud (1937). Delicious layers of thin and flakey Cadbury Milk Chocolate also make it one of the unique Chocolate Bars. According to Nestlé USA, Nestlé Crunch arrived in 1938 and sold for five cents, consisting simply of a milk chocolate bar loaded with crispy, puffed rice pieces. The CRUNCH Chocolate Bar is now available in a larger size – perfect for sharing amongst family and friends, or enjoying all to yourself!

The Charleston Chew has been around a long time, but it’s never been a contender for the top chocolate bar award. And while not strictly a “chocolate bar,” these uniquely shaped chocolate and peanut butter cups are almost universally loved. Again, sprinkles are not part of the classic recipe, but they do add a sense of fun to this particularly kid-friendly bake. According to Know Your Meme, Willie J, a user of the now-defunct video sharing platform Vine, edited and posted in September 2016 a vintage '80s Crunch Bar commercial, replacing the "crunch" with the sound of a hand slapping a face.Back when 3 Musketeers commercials were on TV 24/7, the highlight of this chocolate bar was the fact that it was lower fat than comparable bars. It probably helps that the company also produces dark chocolate and white chocolate versions, among others, but peanut butter and milk chocolate is the tried-and-true recipe for the US market. The sale was rumoured to be because of low growth in the mainstream chocolate market due to newer competitors such as Kinder and the increased variety of snacks, making it challenging for mainstream candy bars like Crunch. Soixante-quinze ans plus tard, cette barre de chocolat au lait pralinée est toujours le produit culte de la chocolaterie. In layman's terms, that means "chocolate with something else complementary in there," be it nougat, caramel, peanuts, or almonds, for example. After Hershey, with its flagship solid rectangular chunk of sugar, milk, and cocoa proved the commercial viability of chocolate bars, the next stage in candy evolution was the "combination bar. Nestlé calculated that it needed to produce 1,000 pounds of crisped rice an hour to meet the demand for Crunch Bars.

That means some chocolate bars aren’t available in other parts of the world, even if people in the United States enjoy them daily.
