It's so beautifully written with rhymes and little envelopes for you to explore with your child, hopefully it withstands my toddler as It's definitely a book I would like to keep and pass through generations. I bought already before The Jolly Postman or others people's letters and it was a nice book and such a good gift, so I bought this edition, and even better than the first, Highly recommend it for children or even for adults who like this type of detailed books.

By far the best book I've ever bought, I couldn't wait to read it, so as my little boy went for a nap I quickly had a read. I had this book growing up and bought it for my friend's daughter and these books are one of the best kept secrets. Many of his books were collaborations with his wife, Janet, an illustrator, and they quickly became one of Britain’s leading author/illustrator teams.
