Description

After the success of Hatchimals and Hatchimals Surprise, Spinmaster have launched a brand new addition to the Hatchimals family Christmas 2018, HatchiBabies.

The Hatchibaby also comes with four accessories a hairbrush, rattle, bottle and cuddly toy which the Hatchimal interacts with. I'm sure you will be glad to here, that again as with the other Hatchimals toys, batteries ( 2 x AA) are included in the Hatchimals HatchiBabies. Tucked away inside are four hidden accessories; a rattle, a brush, a bottle and a very cute cuddle buddy. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.

When playing the Animals Colours game, you need to tap the forehead sensory when you see the colour which matches the animal noise. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Each of the varieties come in both hatchiboys and hatchigirls versions, but you won't know which you have until your Hatchibaby has hatched! From rocking it, rubbing and patting it, tapping the shell (gently) and when you place it down on the table it rocks from side to side which is rather cool.

To activate you need to hold the back of it's head until its eyes turn purple and it stops moving, then tap its forehead ( between and just above its eyes) and back of the head twice. While it was hatching, the children didn’t take their eyes off the egg, my son even got a little upset that he needed to go to the toilet during the process (parenting tip – make them go before! Also beneath the Hatchibaby are the High Chair and the Surprise Accessories - you won't know which colours or varieties you will get. The egg comes with a cheat sheet telling you all the eye colours and what they mean before and after hatching, so you know just what you need to do and it was a piece of paper my son took very seriously! If you want a bit of fun, you can play with egg by tilting it upside down and the right way away too. Hatchimals have been on the must-have Christmas wish lists for a few years now – and this year, something new is set to top the gift list chart.

When you peel back the hidden accessories there are four in each egg, and all species may come with different accessories to keep the surprises coming. Each eye colour means something different, for example purple means hungry, so feed the Hatchibaby with the bottle.Peek-a-boo – Cover its eyes with your hand, remove your hand and it will say “peek-a-boo” in a cute voice.

Hidden in little packages we found a small brush, baby bottle, flower themed rattle and a 'cuddle buddy'. Whenever we receive a toy to review I am always interested to see how both of the children react to it.Rub the bottom of the egg or pick it up to get a reaction, and if you stand it on a flat surface it will rock. I was surprised by how much there was do to with the Hatchimal and he’s proven really popular with both of my kids and think they’ll continue to be entertained by him for a good while yet.
