The brand nailed the shade range of this formula—there are eight different colors that range from fair to dark with varying undertones. While there's no need to get an exact shade match to your skin, it's worth noting that the formula is pretty opaque, so getting a color that's as close to your skin tone as possible is ideal. Use a damp cloth. If you don’t have a whiteboard eraser, you can use a damp cloth to remove the highlighter from the paper. Just make sure that the cloth is not too wet or else you’ll risk damaging the paper. Use a pencil eraser. This method works best if the highlighter is just on the surface of the paper. Rub the pencil eraser over the highlighted area and the highlighter will come right off. Use a dry erase marker. Believe it or not, a dry erase marker can actually help remove blue highlighter from paper! Just draw over the area with the blue highlighter with the dry erase marker. Then, use a dry erase eraser or a damp cloth to wipe away the marker and hopefully the highlighter as well.

The highlighter should start to come off. If it does not, you can try using a mild soap on the cloth. Finally, rinse the area with clean water.

[1] Highlighter may be hot right now, but it has long been a makeup artist and beauty insider secret weapon. These cosmetics formulas contain shimmer particles that reflect light, making skin instantly look radiant, glowing, and refreshed, and even helping sculpt features like cheekbones.I love this highlighter so much because it has a translucent, naturally luminous finish, without being glittery or chalky on the skin," says Shannon Stubbs, Commerce Updates Writer. "It's the perfect finishing touch to my makeup for a noticeably dewy glow." Knowing the chemicals behind the colours is all well and good, but why do they produce these different colours? To explain that, we need to talk about the interaction between light and the various chemical structures. In general, chemicals are coloured because they absorb some wavelengths of light, but not others. Highly conjugated molecules – that is, molecules with a large number of alternating double and single bonds – can absorb wavelengths of light in the visible range of the spectrum, causing them to appeardifferent colours depending on the precise wavelengths of light absorbed.
