This is a good release and deserved the positive reviews it received IMO, as long as you understand what it is ( a unique tropical twist on Sauvage done on the level of a Dior ). Once this fades, it starts becoming quite spicy, designer-ish and actually very pleasant, I enjoyed this stage a lot. The first fragrance it reminded me of was something sweet along the lines of Wanted by Night or Stronger with you. If it before was a concert of many light and strong playful instruments it is now only one very dominant indistinguishable accord which is repeated over and over.

Just get sauvage edt and mix it with some sort of tropical fruity fragrance and it'll probably smell way better. But I'm happy with it being in my lineup, as compared to the other modern twenty something fruit bombs out there. Middle notes of this fragrance are Plum, Raspberry, Freesia, Tuberose and Rose with base notes of Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Cedar, Musk, Patchouli and Sandalwood.There's nothing classy about this, it's completely juvenile, it yells for attention and smells cheaper than what it costs. Top notes are Apple, Green Mandarin, Cardamom and Violet; middle notes are Mango, Lavender, Black Pepper, Patchouli and Peony; base notes are Vanilla, Amber, Vetiver, Teak Wood and Moss. The ambroxany sharpness of the fragrance is balanced out by a playful fruitiness, which would make it a lovely spring or summer night perfume. The bottle is also very beautiful and it's already getting hype everywhere even with the Intense version.I do not reccomend wearing this in an office environment, but this deffinetly works for a party or social environment.

The combination of fruity, floral, spicy and warm notes makes this fragrance versatile and suitable for different occasions. It's not a bad quality fragrance - smells like a very refined, more rounded, and polished Sauvage DNA with added mango.However, for some strange reason, and that could be the hype behind, I vouch for this as a relaxed fruity/mango centered scent, also as a more masculine take on the idea. So it's both fresh and warm and it's a versatile type of fragrance but to me is more suitable for cooler months. Patchouli, vanilla, and sandalwood combine to provide a smooth and sensual foundation for the fragrance. As the fragrance develops, it gracefully transitions into a heart of floral notes, where the delicate and captivating scents of rose, jasmine, and ylang-ylang take center stage. After a week of wearing this I can say this is a top fragrance and a quality one at that,it just took a while for me to understand that, if you DON'T like sweet fragrances avoid this.

I will need more time with this and to test in cooler weather before I make my final decision, but as of now I’m not too impressed.This fragrance could have been a huge hit, if only some of the notes of the opening could stay the entire duration of the fragrance. This scent is hard to place in a season, Mango sort of reminds me of summer but wearing this in the hot weather is too sweet and clawing, I chose to wear this in Spring when I go out to the bars in the evening and it got alot of positive attention, very much a compliment machine, which for what you may pay for this is a plus. This is like if Dior Sauvage went on a holiday to Ibiza and decided to change a bit for the occasion. Their goals were to express their passion for perfume in a new way, while also collaborating with renowned perfume makers with a clear vision.
