Priapism is a serious condition where erection persists beyond or without sexual stimulation. It is almost always painful and results from blood becoming trapped in the erectile bodies, with no arterial flow.

I have modeled for a few years and can say, based on my experience, that uncontrolled erections are not a problem during modeling sessions because the penis is very rarely made the main focus of a typical drawing session. Even on the rare occasion the penis may be reviewed, it’s done in a very clinical way and far from erotic. That’s not saying a male model will be flaccid at all times. IX. Conclusion
