I remember one bit where he was trying to pronounce “Dannymo’s” which I think was supposed to be Danny and Domino’s combined. We all really enjoyed sharing this book together, the kids loved the characters and the illustrations and we all really loved the ending. Despite this, she got a lot of enjoyment out of it, and the little discussions which came out of the story.

I’d definitely recommend it for children aged 5-8 and it would be a great addition to a school library.This series offers a wide range of age-appropriate, high-interest readers for children in Key Stage 2 and 3 who are struggling to make progress with their reading. She was utterly intrigued by the fact this was possible and amazed that each of the 34 illustrations had been painted in this way. When they could no longer act on stage, they focused on writing and illustrating their five children's books, which kept their imagination flowing. Unlike a picture hanging on the wall or holding a single card in your hands, you're interacting with the book and getting involved in it as you follow the words and images of the story.
