It's a classy well made fragrance. that even if you will not consider it for yourself you will like it. Both are above average. On the skin it lasts with me easily over 11 - 12 hours and longer. I also smell oud here, but it's very pleasant. Not synthetic, not pungent. Just a little woody. Saffron forms a wonderful counterpart to the sweetness that flows around me and makes the whole thing a little more bitter. After being a big fan of gourmand fragrances and constantly trying to find THE ONE fragrance for me, I stumbled across Resala by Arabian Oud during my search. From the first minute, this scent is slightly sweet but it doesn't overdo it and it already starts the ride with saffron and rose. I also smell something fruity out but can't really define it but that's also over after 2-3 minutes. The entire fragrance fits for me, is like "Sky and Sand" by P. Kalkbrenner, Powerful, gentle, melodic, soothing and just good.

Through this fragrance I will probably deal a little more intensively with the fragrances of Arabian Oud. The discovery of this fragrance was different from my typical store stroll. The atmosphere of the Arabian Oud shop on the Champs-Élysées is great. I loved the direct approach of the personnel too: I was given a lot of different fragrance to smell in a short time without a lot of fuss about philosophy. Despite me being a lover of narrative and story-telling in the context of fragrances, that's exactly what I was expecting from the brand: an easy to navigate repertoire with strong, statement-making fragrances. The offerings I was given were a bit similar to one another despite the fact that I was told that Resala was "different" and "on its own" but I must say I loved all of them and all of these different shades of Vanilla. Delicious blend of creamy vanilla and a sweet rose with just a hint of oud to balance out the sweetness. I personally can’t detect anything animalic in here. I TOOK SOME SAMPLES TO A FRIENDS HOUSE AND HAD THEN SNIFF TEST VARIOUS SCENTS & AS WE WERE SMELLING THE OUDS A PAL WENT AND GRABBED THEIR FULL BOTTLE OF RESALA & TOLD ME TO SMELL IT BUT I WAS AFRAID AFTER THE HEADACHE A SAMPLE GAVE ME. BUT TO MY PLEASANT SURPRISE WHEN I GAVE IT ANOTHER TRY IT WAS LOVELY SO IDK WHAT TF WAS WRONG WITH THE SAMPLE I RECEIVED BUT I CAN NOW SAY RESALA IS A BEAUTIFUL OUD BEAST :-) I’ve owned bottles of intense cafe, ristretto intense cafe, roses vanille, k’bridge club and Delox and my sample of rosewood has arrived today.

Resala warms me, wraps around me all day and I can't stop smelling myself! It gives me a special kind of self-confidence and femininity, although I can also imagine this fragrance on a man. There are subtle differences between all these scents but rosewood doesn’t have that strange metallic harsh base that both montales and the mancera have. I see the fragrance when going out and at party's. Seasonally, you can wear it throughout the year, however, he is me at over 25 ° C then but a little too oppressive because I reach then rather to what fresh. A clean rose-oud: earthy woods with a hint of spice and a slightly medicinal lift, plus rose, with the saffron sharpening that spicy edge. The famed chocolate note is really just a dusting of cocoa powder on top, adding a delectable sweet touch that is unmistakably chocolate but merely accents an otherwise basic rose-oud scent profile. A warm, creamy vanilla smooths everything out in the base without imparting much of its own flavor. Nuclear initial blast, and very strong for the first hour, but settles to something more moderate and steadily fades over 3-4hr. Longevity 10-12hr. K’bridge was lovely! XJ managed to do their own interpretation of this dna without anything too harsh or overly synthetic smelling. My problem with k’bridge club was that it didn’t project and for the money I do expect to be able to smell it on myself for the majority of the working day.Oud was new territory for me, and I wasn't quite sure whether I really liked "woody" or "spicy" as an attribute in fragrances. However, the fragrance notes other than oud that were mentioned, the bottle, the whole presentation, the opinions about it - something had already cast a spell over me.
