We perceive that only through utter defeat are we able to take our first steps toward liberation and strength. I had a copy years ago when i was in AA but lapsed for a while and 'put it somewhere safe' and of course, could never find it again when i wanted it! Don’t let the heartbreaks of the past cause you to become cynical, close you off to life’s magic and promise.

Men are lonely and more vulnerable to addictions and codependency when they have no firm friendships with other men.Sometimes turning points are beginnings, as when I decide to start praising, instead of condemning someone. AA takes the help they provide with the utmost care, wanting to ensure that all their members can be confident and clear minded throughout their journey.

We cannot subscribe to the belief that this life is vale of tears, though it once was just that for many f us.It is in situations arising in both of those areas that the little day-to-day frustrations are most evident, and where it can be tough to smile or reach out with a kind word or an attentive ear.
