When I first read about The Miracle I assumed that it would be difficult to use but I have found it so easy that I cannot quite believe it to be true. I’ve started adjusting the height measure as my Son is growing rapidly and I find this is a fabulous feature.

It adjusts with the baby as they grow, and has good back and hip support so I can wear my baby for a while pain free. It’s made coping with a newborn and a toddler so much easier as I can strap my newborn on and not have to worry about him whilst carrying on with my usual routine of housework and play. When your baby is one year old, you can start carrying them on your back, which often feels more comfortable as your child grows heavier. After being slightly scared looking at the instructions, which were not particularly clear, I decided to just put the carrier on and work it out for myself.

BabyBjorn and Ergobaby make a number of different carriers and keep bringing out new versions, which often look nearly identical. Additional lumbar support; firm padding; the most adjustable straps, with 2 configurations for front carries to fit a wide range of adults; the most comfortable front facing position. The only down sides of this product is the height adjustment strap is very stiff and also the back support for baby doesn’t adjust so can be a little fiddly when trying to strap little one in.

The carrier has an adjustable seat width that can grow with your child until they are about 3 years old. The adjustable head support was fantastic too and I could move around freely and carry on with the usual things around the house.It was difficult to get Lewis into the carrier without help when he was 2 weeks old but as he got bigger I was able to get him in fairly easily. They are both very padded and structured; both offer the same carrying positions (front parent-facing, front outwards-facing and – in theory – back carrying) and are comfortable to use beyond the first few months. It is quite expensive but I think over time, with its hard wearing material and being able to turn your baby around, you will get lots of use. I did try pretty ring slings and wrap style carriers but could not find anything that was quick and easy to get on, quick and easy to get baby in and out of and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Not such a good fit for very petite mums, due to the bulkiness and straps length; or bigger breasted mums, who may find the internal hardness uncomfortable.
