What I really like about this fragrance is the mix of lavender,sage and citrus but I do however wish this had less pepper as if they had toned that note down this would have been a lot more smooth and refined. According to my perception, although I don’t like to say that, the target is men above 25 years old, at least. Lanvin's Avant Garde, although a totally different proposition, is also terrific - but a cool weather certainty.

I'm puzzled why this dominant musk note in Lanvin L'Homme is not mentioned more often in these reviews.
