Bloody Bens started with our Bloody Mary Mix which was created in Ben's Canteen which was famous for Brunch. So, Brunch, Bloody Marys, Ben's Canteen... obviously leads to Bloody Bens, right.

The Mix was borne out of a frustration that Bloody Marys are generally poorly made. Or they are really hard to make at home because you don't have all the ingredients. Bloody Bens Bloody Mary Mix solves these problems. Or are you looking to consistently offer your customers a better Bloody Mary or Gin at your Bar, Café, Pub or Restaurant? The distillery has now expanded from being a side project in a cabinet at the Earlsfield Canteen, to grow with demand with a beautiful 30ltr copper still which has pride of place at the rear of the venue. What led you to want to change one of your restaurants into an expanded distillery and bar? It’s brilliant that we have a venue where we can host mini gin festivals and invite fellow gin makers down to show off their creativity.’I love that South West London has gin companies, makes a change from everything like this being so East London centric.’ The ingredient to make perfect Bloody Marys. Shake awake your bottle of spiced tomato juice before pouring. The simple answer is flavour. Yes, you can find Pre-Mixed Spicy Tomato Juices out there and a select few even contain alcohol but they hardly have any flavour. Our Spice Mix is intentionally intense and will give you a much greater depth of flavour. It’s so great to welcome Bloody Bens to Earlsfield and I’m excited to see (and taste) even more delicious creations, drawing from our local area. Of course, we’ll still be making our Bloody Mary Mix but the intention with Bloody Bens has always been to make more products that are anything but ordinary. We can’t wait to make Red Snappers (Gin based Bloody Marys) with our very own Gin.

I didn't like Bloody Marys, they were all too average at the pub and badly balanced at home. So, I created a spice Mix that means you can enjoy the best Bloody Marys wherever you are. Grab a Bottle, or, one of our Kits, and discover how good they are. Bloody Bens’ bar has an impressive collection of other gins too, in addition to their own creations. 70 bottles from around the world now adorn the bar with gins ranging from the local Graveney Gin (Tooting) and Renegade Gin (Battersea), to the likes of Scapegrace (New Zealand) and Four Pillars (Australia).
