Although style is a very personal concept, and what one person finds stylish another finds distasteful, I would say that this is a rather stylish watch being neither dull nor overly 'bling'. It has a lovely silver grey dial that can either be worn casually or as a dress watch and the gold accents are not over the top (quite understated actually). If you do not like the bracelet strap it can be easily changed out for a leather strap and the coises are many

The Seiko 5 is a legend and I would recommend this watch or any of the other Seiko 5 styles (there are an awful lot to choose from) to anyone wanti ng a good watch for everyday use that presents excellent value for money.

It’s well-known that we’re big fans of the Seiko 5 line here at Worn & Wound, and I’m certain that it’s a sentiment shared by many watch lovers across the spectrum of collecting. Because they’re very cheap, Seiko 5 watches are often called the ultimate gateway into mechanical timekeeping — the first steps into the shallow end of the pool before the obsession takes hold and we get pulled into the deep end. But I think that does a disservice to these timepieces because, money considerations aside, these are truly great watches that punch well above their weight. Zach, who’s probably handled thousands of watches at this point and has owned some truly wonderful pieces over the years, still wears his SNK regularly, and that’s because the watch simply holds up. One of the great things about the Seiko 5 line is that many of the watches come in well under 40 millimeters. This SNXF05 measures just 37 millimeters across, but it’s given a boost in presence via the tonneau case. What’s really special about this watch is the dial, or to be more specific, the gridded pattern on the dial, which is something you just don’t really see today. Ditch the chintzy bracelet, slip on a neutral-colored leather two-piece strap, and you’re good to go. If the 'Grand Seiko' is the Lexus of watches the 'Seiko 5' could be considered the Toyota Corolla (look how many of these are around and how reliable they are). These are a personal favorite. All four have major Oyster Perpetual vibes without feeling too derivative, and naturally you can expect anything that borrows from the OP to be pretty damn versatile. These share the same tonneau case as the aforementioned SNXF05, so that 37-millimeter diameter should be quite forgiving for a number of wrist sizes.

The 7S36 movement is historically robust and the overall fit and finish of the watch is astounding for the price. Seiko 5 Automatic SNXS75K1 watch with sparkling grey face with luminous dial and non-numeric hour marks is quite something for the money. The watch bought for myself as early birthday present, the Seiko i had before was the quartz type with battery, so this time i thought i would have an automatic, i have had one in the past, which kept good time. I found that with the 37mm case on an 8.1/2 inch wrist was just to small and i need something about 40/42mm, the supplier enabled me to return the watch, i wish that i could have kept it, in my opinion the watch was a beautiful sparkling grey colour with luminous non numeric hour markers and luminous watch hands, the three questions above ask - is it good value, well yes it is for the amount of watch your getting, is it comfortable - when it`s on the wrist it is very comfy i found it was quite light, you didn`t know you have it on, is it stylish - the Seiko 5 watches are very stylish, they don`t bling like some, my two gripes with the watch is 1, it was too small at 37mm for my wrist and 2. who ever thought of putting that bracelet on the watch must have never owned one, in my opinion the metal strap should be changed to a leather strap, this would make this watch stand out. Overall for the price paid the watch is ideal for some one with 6/7 inch wrists, the metal strap should swapped out, then you would an excellent watch to call your own Read full review
