ANNNNDDDD WE have an answer from Pablo as to HOW KYLO has his scarred helmet from TFA in TLJ on Reddit (archived from the original) Kylo Ren and General Armitage Hux were stranded together on a planet after surviving an explosion on their Xi-class light shuttle. An argument ensued between the two rivals over which of them was the intended target of an assassination plot. Relying on Snoke's patronage as a deterrent to Ren's wrath, Hux voiced his personal thoughts on Ren's helmet, revealing his belief that the dark side warrior wore it as a disguise due to his Rebel heritage. He also accused Ren of playing "dress-up" to imitate Vader in appearance. Ren responded by threatening to kill Hux with his lightsaber, but the general reminded the dark apprentice of Snoke's support for his career, forcing Ren to spare Hux's life. [13] So not only does this helmet sound like the battles Luke experienced, but it also looks the part. The white and red helmet is battle-scarred and damaged just as in the movie. Though The Last Jedi film and most of its literary adaptations showed Ren destroying his helmet by smashing it against the wall of the turbolift aboard the Supremacy, the film's storybook adaptation described Ren destroying his helmet by crushing it beneath his feet. [25]

Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, including the destruction of Kylo Ren's helmet aboard the Supremacy, to 34 ABY.Through the work of a skilled Sith alchemist, the shattered helmet was repaired using a latticework of red Sarrassian iron. It became stronger than ever. A pity the same cannot be said of the child who wears it." ―Darth Sidious [9] This helmet fits a little bit smaller than the other two previously listed. As such, it is a great choice for younger kids to wear. The plastic helmet comes with a chin strap and other adjustable straps for a snugger fit. Boba Fett sure is a popular character, as are his helmets. Another version was released in 2021. This design was styled after his helmet in The Mandalorian series. It includes the iconic weathering and beat-up look on the outside, along with a large dent on the left-hand side. Kylo Ren does indeed sport a new helmet in The Rise of Skywalker, built from the pieces of the helmet he broke in The Last Jedi after Snoke belittled him as "a child in a mask." The reworked headgear features jagged silver bits and red vein-like stripes running across it, evidence that Kylo welded the sections together to create a new helmet out of the old one.

J.J. Abrams Has Confirmed a Big Kylo Ren Fan Theory About Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker by Nero, Dom on www.esquire.com ( October 1, 2019): "J.J. Abrams confirmed in an interview with Empire that Kintsugi is a factor at play in Rise of Skywalker for Adam Driver's rage-induced dark lord. He said: "Having [Kylo Ren] be masked, but also fractured, is a very intentional thing. Like that classic Japanese process of taking ceramics and repairing them, and how the breaks in a way define the beauty of the piece as much as the original itself. As fractured as Ren is, the mask becomes a visual representation of that. There's something about this that tells his history. His mask doesn't ultimately hide him and his behavior is revealed."" (archived from the original on December 30, 2019)The shattered fragments of his helmet were given to Albrekh, a Symeong metalsmith with close ties to the Knights of Ren. [2] At first, Ren doubted that even Albrekh's skills could repair the damage to his mask, but his concerns were allayed as he witnessed the Symeong's work. Using his knowledge of Sith alchemy and access to a Sith forge, [15] Albrekh painstakingly reconnected the helmet's pieces, using Sarrassian iron to weld them together. [2] It's safe to wear." ―Albrekh has dialogue in the novelization of Episode IX that is not present in the film [5] Just like the Poe Dameron helmet, Luke’s helmet doesn’t cover the entire face. It has attachable Velcro padding for the inside and a chin strap to make it a comfortable fit.

SNOKE: It was I who bridged your minds. I stoked Ren's conflicted soul. I knew he was not strong enough to hide it from you. This helmet can be taken apart into two pieces. The front has an electronic voice changer to mask your voice, making it the rough style of Rens. Inside are adjustable straps to fit the helmet to your head. Initially, in The Last Jedi, he is insulted by Snoke: “You’re just a child... behind a mask.” Consequently, Kylo Ren smashes up his helmet, which I believe is a form of rejection of Snokes power over him, ultimately culminating to his assassination of Supreme Leader Snoke. Although the helmet doesn’t contain a voice changer, the other features make up for it. As seen in various scenes in the movies, his mask has multiple pieces. This one does as well, including a collar, mask, and hood piece. With the release of the new Kenobi series, came the release of a new Darth Vader helmet. Although a helmet had previously been released two different years, this one, released in May of 2022 follows the design of his helmet in the show. Kylo Ren: " I sense unease about my appearance, General Hux." Armitage Hux: " About the mask? No, sir. Well done." Bellava Parnadee: " I like it." ―Kylo Ren, Armitage Hux, and Bellava Parnadee [7] These troopers focused on mortar weapons. Like most stormtrooper helmets, this one comes with a voice changer to disguise your voice. It is adjustable to fit any head size.
