I tend to spend more time cleaning my best natural hair brushes. From time to time I even use wife's hair shampoo to help them last long. I hope You will find some useful information that will make You paint better. In the and its all about the time and practice. If You don’t like the achieved result – You can always strip off the paint and start over. The kit lighting set is a bit limited in scope and some folks add an AM one to improve on it. Tyridium Models makes lighting kits as do a number of other companies.

I would definitely recommend using an airbrush or spray cans for the paint job. You could do the smaller details with a brush but best to do the overall colour with an airbrush. Carrera Revell model kits are available from all good toy and model retailers. For further information visit Everything I've seen suggests that no-one paints this with brushes, it's all sprayed. Is this right? Use both, You can't replicate all the weathering with an airbrush. The first three panels are painted red. It was quite complicated because I hadn’t thought about installing the flap control later. To all Star Wars fans who have been committed to that wish, here is what Bandai has to offer. Here is the ultimate Millennium Falcon. Reproducing the Finest DetailsTry as much as you can not to touch the painted objects (that is why I am pinning almost all model parts). You May have damage it. Even if you dont damage it you can still leave some grease from your fingers - this is bad and can change the color and properties of the surface.

Personally I wouldn't brush paint until there are finer details. And with all my builds I try and use as less of the decals as possible and any panels I airbrush on.....it's a pain with all the masking but you get a more realistic finish. Plus you can pre-shade, weather, chip effect and add damage much better than you can with a decal. The nice thing about the kit you have is the panel decals already have the look of chips and scratches etc so will still look decent. Nothing wrong with using the decals. If you wanted to really push the boat out in terms of paint you could go the route of "screen accurate" paints by Archive X enamel based paints ( Pretty expensive, I have some and will be using these with Tamiya and Gunze Sangyo). Everything I've seen suggests that no-one paints this with brushes, it's all sprayed.
