Description

This book is definitely appealing for those who enjoy a little (okay, a LOT!) of potty humor but it's done in such a playful, charming and creative way. I can't imagine a single kid of my acquaintance (myself included!) who wouldn't love imagining various animals in the bathroom! (I think that this book is set in a zoo, but I'm not sure; it would stand to reason why there is a long line for the public restroom, with both adults and kids in line, and also why the kids imagine animals in there but readers who dislike zoos need not be worried as none of the animals here are a zoo setting.) Some of the scenarios and rhymes are funnier than others (and I thought one was a tad mean) but all in all it's a winner and I thought the ending was very cute and clever. You then all sing the song together, and the leading person (you!) says a word. The person to the left of you should say a word that rhymes with this, the person after them should say a word that doesn’t, and so on. Once everyone has said a word, you sing the song again and give a new word.

Who’s in the Loo?’ uses lots of different and interesting ways to say someone is in the toilet. This activity encourages children to come up with imaginative and unusual uses for other objects.

Our brilliant creative learning team have created some activtiies for you to do after you've listened to Jeanne's story time. Activities Adrian Reynolds was born in South Wales, and after studying at Swansea College of Art and later at Cambridgeshire College of Art and Technology, Adrian worked at Heffers Children's Book Shop before beginning to write and illustrate his own picture books.

The ending is quite funny and there is a little twist to the story but the key message is ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS. Give children some post it notes or scraps of paper to write on. Tell them a word/object, for example, shoes. Children should write down (or draw!) as many different uses for this object as possible. Uses for shoes could include wearing, covering your feet, covering your hands, wearing as a hat, walking, running, skipping, jumping, splashing, etc.

When will my book be dispatched from your warehouse?

The story starts when a boy called Harry is at the adventure park and the queue for the loo is really really long. He joins the queue with his friend and they are desperate to go to the toilet and curious to find out who is in the loo. They spend a long time guessing but I don't want to spoilt the characters for you so I won't tell you too much ! Please be aware that the delivery time frame may vary according to the area of delivery - the approximate delivery time is usually between 1-2 business days. Children should write down as many different uses for the object as they can think of, and then share their ideas with others. Story Creation First, gather everyone together to sit or stand in a circle. You start by teaching everyone this simple song:

She has since written over 300 books and has won several awards, which are arranged in the attic where she works, along with her collection of caterpillars, pink-toed tarantula skins and live locusts. Jeanne has a keen interest in Natural History and has lost count of the number of species featured in her books, including everything from slugs to sloths. She is currently into corvids - especially Nosy Crows. My favourite part of the book is when the elephant is having a big poo! It is probably thhe funniest part of a book ever! Using the ideas children have come up with, encourage children to put them together to come up with their own story, either individually or as a group. Delivery with Standard Australia Post usually happens within 2-10 business days from time of dispatch. Please be aware that the delivery time frame may vary according to the area of delivery and due to various reasons, the delivery may take longer than the original estimated timeframe. This week our story time will be Who's in the Loo with Jeanne Willis. We'd love you to join us for this extra-special storytime at www.facebook.com/7Stories.This is my all time favourite story, I have loved it since my nursery teachers used to read it to me when I was little. I still love to read it on my own now. It always makes me laugh!
