Description

I live in a mountain area, far from the nearest towers, and the 4G works depending on which of two cells it's connecting, so I'm trying to find a way to keep it always connected to the same one. The Data roaming SIM card which is included with this Mobile WiFi device comes with free credit so you can start using it immediately, if you purchase this product with more credit you will get better value for money. A B593-u12 would accept any firmware, but since B593-s22 there has been an increasing number of mechanisms to prevent firmware hacks. We go to a CL which has 4G from VF and O2 from an electricity pylon site about 700m away, and EE and 3 from a 3 site about 1Km in the opposite direction, both line of sight.

Plug-in to computer with supplied USB lead to charge battery and switch on using the button on the front.Even though the app is not mandatory, it certainly is a lot more practical than having to open browser then access the web admin. Open up the box and you'll find the Mi-Fi, the battery, a cable for both charging and data transfer, and a couple of sheets (quickstart guide and warranty card). A power adapter for charging your battery is not supplied, in my opinion, it is also unnecessary because the USB cable can connect to the power adapter for your smartphones or tablets.

Rather than go down the route of trying to claim there's a fault with it, I think I'll replace it with something like the Huawei B535. To put that in perspective Netflix suggest a download speed of 5Mbps to stream full HD content and 25Mbps to stream 4k Ultra HD content. We've used ours in France, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria , Slovenia, Italy, Croatia and never needed an antenna. If the caravan is aluminium bodied then it is close to being a Faraday Cage so the mifi outside is a good idea.

The tech who is helping me set up mine (in a nearly nonexistent connection area) says that this router can connect to both towers. On my tests, it was an ok piece of plastic, but obviously non-computer users don't want to mess aroud with their hardware, they just want it to work when needed.I have also contacted Huawei but they could not help but I gave them the serial number and they said its not a uk device and that could be the reason I've always used a 3 sim in it with no problems I cannot even remember where I bought it. This appears to be why HUAWEI devices however they are connected always seem to be slower than our phones, unless of course signals are piggybacking on a bigger network which raises different questions. Since the WPA-password was clearly visible on the status screen, and this router is very easy to install to your home.

Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). When you use a SIM card for the first time, as per Indonesian government regulation, you need to register your SIM card. It generally works fine, but I've noticed it never picks up as good a signal as my phone (Huawei P20 Lite) when in the same place. We have never needed an external antenna, generally the coverage in the UK is the least but that's probably because you can use a wider variety of suppliers when roaming. Though that sounds fantastic, the availability of such network is currently limited to a handful of countries. For other settings, you need to use the HiLink app for Android or iOS operating systems, or access to the web interface. When the Smarty SIM was in the mifi device, EVERYTHING worked flawlessly, so I'm certain it's the EE network that's the issue. So a top tip is to ensure your sim card is on a separate network provider to your phone to make sure you have the best opportunity to have a data network signal. However I'm not sure it helps me diagnose whether there's anything wrong with it, or if it's working as designed. The unit is located inside a house in quite a poor location, so I'd say the antenna reception is what you'd expect from a plastic thing without any real antennas attached to it.
