I shy away slightly from wearing this fragrance as it has the best projection from a fragrance out of my collection so far. I worry that I’d nauseate my friends around me, even though they love the smell. The projection is brilliant and I’ve received the most amount of compliments and notice from wearing this fragrance out of any other. Some people can smell this from several feet away.

I would really like a fresh scent that lasts but am open to others. These are the ones I’m considering trying next: I bought both Qaed Al Fursan and Lattafa Rave Now, and they smell almost identical. Rave now has a little more ripe pineapple and Al Fursan is little more syrupy sweet, but they're very similar. Get whichever is cheaper or whichever bottle you like more - no point in getting both in my opinion. I feel like this is probably best used layered with something that's a lot woodier, like maybe CDNIM. Whilst I now understand what everyone is on about with the sweet pineapple note, I can confirm it's not for me.In terms of longevity, this easily lasts around a mad 24 hours in my skin, and can smell a hint of pineapple woodiness when I go to sleep. When the fragrance settles after a couple of hours a faint woodier note appears. Buy Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited 90ml Perfume! Explore a range of Arabian Oud fragrances at E&A Distribution. Apart from smelling mouth-wateringly and realistically edible, it also has the benefit of being super versatile, fitting most seasons and situations. Plus, it comes in a surprisingly classy bottle, made of a nice dark glass with a golden raised metallic horse design going on, and a lightweight, but magnetic, cap. Paris Corner Pendora Dream Catcher (I only smelled D&G The One EDP once but fell in love with it immediately) There's a smokiness to it that you find in a lot of masculine fruit scent profiles. I wouldn't wear this in the winter, it'd be annoying. I'm envisioning the wet, rainy version of this scent and it's not good. I think this could be nauseating in the summer. Probably a spring time scent but your mileage may vary. This doesn't really smell like pineapple. It starts with a mixture of a sweet artificial pineapple imitation (not the real thing at all!), some synthetic oud, and a standard ingredient in designer perfumes that I've smelled a thousand times and always reminds me of melon/cucumber. I suppose the latter is what people might identify as saffron. But in the dry-down, QAF is clearly superior, it has a much smoother scent profile and definitely smells like it's a more expensive fragrance than the Zara one (which it is, but not by a lot) and overall like a more mature scent (not mature as in "older gentleman" but just... slightly more sophisticated). I could see QAF working in almost every season, while Bogoss really feels like something you should only wear in late spring/summer. The Bogoss also has quite a bit of that lemon which despite being a top note, honestly feels more apparent to me later on when i'm wearing it.

Although I don't get any Aventus vibes whatsoever, I'll admit that something in the mid does remind me of a single accord from the original Club de Nuit Intense edt. But for the first hour, it's that awful saffron-oud mix that dominates. Medicinal and with a powdery and crystalline sweetness. Definitely vibes of Oud for Greatness, although nowhere near as woody or spicy. There's a bit of Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud too but without the whole By The Fireplace feel. If I were to place it in a genre, it would be a relative or distant neighbour of BR540.....ish. Absolutely nothing smells anywhere close to natural in this; and although the blend does get better with time, I find myself becoming more annoyed with each sniff. What can I say. The style just isn't for me. The opening lasts just long enough for me, and when the woody notes begin to settle in, I’m just overjoyed by the luxury that this fragrance exudes. It’s a really nice balance between playful and serious. I enjoy the term “eastern fragrances for western noses” because that perfectly sums this one up for me. I wouldn’t recommend it for any one season over another, but so far this summer, I’m getting great-ish performance if I don’t work up too much of a sweat. On days where I have spent my time in A/C controlled environments, I would get whiffs of myself in the air, and the pineapple note sings a little harmony under the creamy, just almost smoky and mildly spicy woods. Overspray the shit out of this if you’re brave enough to buy it and not stand the burned plastic smell that stays for 2-3 minutes.
