Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit. It tastes like the sound a band would make if their members were a tangerine, grapefruit and a lemon...and you could actually taste sound. The method above works for pure alcohol or vodka sodas, but it won’t be the exact same strategy for dry wines, hard cider, or mixed drinks made with mixers containing extra calories. Great with: light, bright Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese fare. The perfect foil for umami rich or spicy dishes, it also makes the perfect mixer with a top-shelf Japanese whisky or vodka. Shake. Add the whisky, lemon juice, yuzu juice, simple syrup and egg white into a shaker and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. All our Premium Sodas contain grape juice and lemon juice to give balance and a full flavour. Our Premium Sodas are naturally low in calories - under 57 calories per can (330ml)

I had the original idea in mid-2018. At the time, Crazy Rich Asians was the number one film at the box office, Korean pop was hitting a fever pitch, and the influence of Asian food and culture was really starting to make its mark on American culture,” Sandro Roco, the creator and founder of emerging sparkling water brand, Sanzo, relayed. “But when I walked the beverage aisles at both markets like Whole Foods and H-Mart, I didn’t feel there was anything properly capturing this shift in culture.” Sure, adaptogen-infused drinks have existed prior to Droplet’s launch and the trend continues to grow, but that doesn’t mean the beverages have always felt particularly appealing. “We're at the beginning of the adaptogen trend right now and we could see that they've really only been used two ways: for mens' high performance or for the New Age woman, who presumably already knew about alternative therapies,” said Perez. “There are millions of us who don't identify with either of these categories—some of us just want a little bit of a health boost without too much granola.” If your fave isn’t in the top 10, sorry, but don’t take it to heart. Taste is, of course, subjective, and the thing about the hard seltzer – as I told a couple of tasters who asked me what attributes one should look out for in determining a good seltz from a shit one – is that it is not a complex beverage. As The Atlantic put it in 2019: “It’s cold, drinkable, and doesn’t taste like much. It neatly satisfies young consumers’ desires for affordable, convenient, portable, low-calorie, healthy-seeming alcohol options. In other words, it’s the perfect drink for people exhausted by rules.” Enjoy. All our premium sodas contain grape juice and lemon juice to give balance and a full flavour. Our seltzers were created for those people looking for a new type of soft drink; a lightly carbonated beverage which doesn't sacrifice taste to be low calorie, is made only from natural ingredients and is significantly lower in sugar than traditional soft drinks. Sparkling water, cucumber extract, concentrated grape juice, concentrated lemon juice, natural flavourings. What a beautiful glass of fizz. Exceptionally well-balanced, it would be a fantastic nonalcoholic drink in the hospitality trade. It's thirst-quenching, fragrant and not too sweet. It also feels very natural and a delight to drink." Great Taste Awards, 2023 This is a modern Spritz (4%) that is deeply refreshing, complex and delicious. It tastes like serendipity, quenches curiosity.

Method: First, make pandan syrup. On a stove, heat up sugar and water in a saucepan. Once sugar is dissolved and right before simmering, add pandan leaf and remove from heat. Cover and let it cool down. Strain. Add shio-koji at five percent of the weight of pandan syrup, then blend them all together in a blender. Keep refrigerated until use. Sakura Spritz Bourbon Steak Many people feel that alcoholic drinks are off the table when trying to eat healthy, but that doesn’t need to be the case at all. Yuzu Juice: if you have access to fresh yuzu in your area that is always best. However, if you can’t find fresh yuzu, you can buy yuzu juice in bottles at your local Japanese grocery market. My name is Fetch, your friendly galactic neighbourhood citrus enthusiast! I'm Brazilian by heritage, but I see myself as more of a citizen of the universe. I LOVE travelling, I've wondered all over the world and beyond. It was on my travels, actually, that I discovered my life's obsession. The yuzu. This Premium Soda is lightly effervescent, quenches deeply with the clean freshness of real cucumber and hums with a subtle natural sweetness. A couple of years ago someone over there decided to make boozy, lightly flavoured soda water and put it in cans, and people went nuts for it, particularly the White Claw brand – so much so that summer 2019 in the US was dubbed White Claw summer . There were memes. There was a shortage. Ah, pre-Covid life. It isn't easy balancing drinks that contain rose but here you have succeeded. The aroma is unique and there are fruity after-notes. It leaves one with a very clean palate. We can imagine ourselves serving this as a nonalcoholic aperitif as we sit relaxing in our garden on a summer's evening. Very well done.

Hibiscus & Rose

This drink is an attractive pale pink. On tasting, the flavours all burst through. There is a fullness and delicacy, which is a wonderful combination– the idea of a summer evening and a whole bottle of this is delightful! The fragrance on the nose with the delicate balance of the fruit is so attractive, and the fact there is no added sugar is also a bonus.

Suze is, plainly, a bitter aperitif (which we are no strangers to here). The main ingredient is gentian root, specifically the species gentiana lutea (Great Yellow Gentian), which imparts the bitter, vegetal flavors the drink is known for. Gentian is also used in a number of other beverages — both alcoholic and non-alcoholic — such as Gentian (obvious, right?) and the soft drink, Moxie. The plant grows in Switzerland and France, which is a great segue into ...Alcohol itself is technically its own macronutrient, we just don’t count it alongside fat, protein, and carbs because it’s not essential. Lunar Hard Seltzer Yuzu– Yuzu is indeed part of the citrus family, although variations of the yuzu originate alternatively from Japan, Korea, and China. It is commonly used as the sweet/tart enhancement in Asian cuisine and is probably best described in flavor as a cross between grapefruit and mandarin orange. What that makes for is something both sweeter and more tart than the orange. In this drink there is a bitterness to the otherwise creamy, distinctive sweetness of the mandarin orange. The Japanese yuzu flavor here is quite subtle, which makes the maltiness of the corn sugar alcohol more pronounced, but where the alcohol still sits very low in the mix. 4.9% abv. B+
