After many years of daily service, my old dewalt impact driver finally gave up. I didn't think it possible to improve on the old one but boy I was wrong! The three speed function is a great feature and the torque is immense for an 18v. I used my mates makita one while waiting for the delivery of the new unit and it was useless compared to this. If you're in the trade and haven't invested in the dewalt platform then I strongly recommend you do! Rea lly happy with the tool though. No problems at all, just adapting to having the right tool with a lot more power. Well this unit has the torque. The different speed selection is useful and the torque is much higher than the drill driver, which is okay for small DIY jobs but not up to CLS stud work for example.
