Description

He comes with Spinister, who can transform into a helicopter, a robot with 3mm-compatible hands, and a weapon with a 5mm handle. In an unexpected turn of events, Platinum Edition Optimus Prime is an unchanged release of Hybrid Style Convoy, making it the very first Hasbro release of the figure. He retains all of the original figure's accessories, and the die-cast construction.

Accessories: Missile launching cannon, missile, sword, shield, bladed shield, electronic left forearm, bladed left fist, torso armor, left & right winged "launchers", left & right armor boots In addition, the set also comes with a replica of the S.T.A.R.S. supply kit, a S.T.A.R.S. badge, a Transformers Fan Club card, a poster, and a Transformers Mook. Part of the Legend Commander Collection sold at Transformers Expo, "Convoy (Jodai)"— jodai (初代) meaning "first generation"—is a redeco of Robotmasters G1 Convoy. While most of the paint masks are identical to the original mold, other changes include replacing the translucent parts into clear blue plastic, and the panel-lining on the grill is stripped off. Unlike the first toy, he does not include a pair of swappable 3mm fists, his missile launcher, or his Calamity Defenser weapon. He is bundled with Shattered Glass Ratchet, and was revealed on the September 8 TransformersTuesday. Much like most 2020 Selects product, the toy is only branded as part of the War for Cybertron Trilogy and not Earthrise. Like all Vintage G1 figures, Optimus Prime was exclusive to Walmart in the United States and Canada and general release in Asia, notably Toys"R"Us.Kingdom Titan Class Autobot Ark comes with a minuscule figurine of Optimus Prime, similar to the Unicron-scaled one in the War for Cybertron Trilogy Deluxe Centurion Drone set, designed to be in scale with the Ark 's starship mode. It is cast in the same orange translucent plastic used for the Ark's windscreen, then painted over with a metallic red.

A polybag with buildable Optimus Prime with larger hands and legs on a Kreon sized torso, much like the Galvatron in the Factory Battle set. His helmet is completely unpainted. This toy was released exclusively through TakaraTomy Mall and, thanks to brand unification, Hasbro Pulse and other online retailers in the United States and Canada. It is the first Selects figure to be developed by TakaraTomy. Build the Battlefield Beyond: Earthrise figures allow fans to build out epic space battle scenes, featuring figures that can convert into Modular Battle Station modes and connect together to expand the battlefield (each sold separately, subject to availability). Though Optimus's wave was scheduled for a first quarter 2015 release, it arrived on U.S. store shelves in late 2014. Although usually sold in Japanese markets, some department stores in Asia had sold the figure as well.

So what if I don't come with an evil Spike-clone guy or a slaghead Roller! You'll still buy me anyway because I have a trailer!" The small robot component, as well as being part of Optimus Prime, was also released with a different trailer as Pepsi Convoy. This mold was also used to make the concurrently released TakaraTomy Mall exclusive Decepticon Refraktor R5, and redecoed into Nemesis Prime. Shouldn't be hard for him to fit in with the Decepticons... There's like, two other "evil Optimus Prime" guys in their ranks. This figure was only available through Fun Publications' Subscription Service 5.0 and shipped together with Double Pretender Megatron. Canon/Transformers Optimus Prime is a roughly Voyager-sized figure that transforms into a fully licensed Canon EOS R5 digital camera. The toy is 80% the size of the genuine article and features a removable lens attachment, though it must be reattached to him before he can transform to robot mode since it forms his arms. The lens cap is removable and is used as a shield in robot mode. His included Matrix of Leadership can be pegged onto his lens, just behind the front element. He also comes with a small version of his own camera mode.

Optimus Prime is now decoed in white, dark gray and red, with a Ghostbusters "no ghosts" logo on his right shoulder in addition to the Autobot logo on his left. The trailer is decoed similarly, with Ecto-1 style details adorning the sides, as well as green ghost splatter. Optimus's vehicle mode bumper includes an "ECTO-35" plate, which can be seen through his chest in robot mode, referencing the 35th Anniversary of both the Transformers and Ghostbusters franchises. Accessories: trailer/evolution armor, ion-blaster (formed by two blasters), Matrix of Leadership frame, Matrix of Leadership core

I could feel all my bad parts being drawn away into this thing. All my nasty habits, my filthy desires... they were now the stuff of this Anti-Me." Surely one of the strangest examples of licensed Transformers products, Sports Label Convoy transforms into a shoe. Something of a shellformer, this baffling incarnation of Prime is colored primarily white and red in his alt mode of a realistic-looking (if notably undersized) Nike Free 7.0 sneaker, complete with gratuitously long real fabric shoelaces. In robot mode, he is made instantly recognizable by his incorporation of some additional blue and silver in predictable areas, and a traditionally Prime-styled head. Less traditionally, and somewhat perversely, Prime's feet are sculpted in the likeness of his own sneaker mode, making it seem like he's wearing himself! Reminiscent of the fact that the original Return of Convoy Star Convoy figure could transform into a battle station, a "Z Base Mode" resembling that original battle station mode was created for the character and introduced in the Selects Special Comic promoting Super Megatron. This figure (and any of the Power of the Primes Evolution Optimus Prime molds) is capable of being configured into this form. In reference to the fact that the original Star Convoy figure included a Micromaster version of Hot Rod to man the battle station, one can populate the Z Base Mode with the Firedrive or Rodimus Prime Titan Masters from Hot Rod's Titans Return figure and the "Chaos on Velocitron" box set respectively. As said Hot Rod Micromaster could also store in the original Star Convoy figure's chest, one can also re-enact this functionality by taking a Matrix frame from a Power of the Primes Leader Class figure and placing one of the aforementioned Titan Masters in it, then inserting the frame into Star Convoy's chest.
