This is a fun way of showing the reader what different cultures and places look like around the world, along with learning to count! Next she flew to Thailand and bought two temple cats and from there, on to Mexico where she bought three funny masks. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. This is an excellent book for young children, which can help develop counting as granny takes the reader on an adventure around the world with her. On each page there are a number of things that need to be found and counted, helping the reader learn how to count in a fun way!

I enjoyed reading this book because in some of the cultures I did not realize one of their customs and normalities.

This book is great for learning about other countries and cultures and can be a brilliant starting point for a cross-curricular project.
